Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker has finally tracked down a release date on PlayStation 4. The team-based semi-tactical brawler lets players create their own ninja, and there are a bunch of different game modes to try out. You can get a better look at them in the trailer that we've embedded above.
With such an emphasis on teamwork, the meat of Shinobi Striker is going to be its online functionality. Here's hoping that it provides a good amount of hectic fun when it launches on the 31st August.
Will you be picking Shinobi Striker up later this year? Be careful with those shuriken in the comments section below.

Why the heck has Bandai Namco taken the video down? Ugh. I'll update it with a new one as soon as its available.

@FullbringIchigo Thanks, I've added that one back in. For some reason it was taken down.
@ShogunRok it happens for time to time, the original video probably had a mistake in it
@FullbringIchigo @ShogunRok The final release should have English voices right?
Also has there been any news about this game having some sort of story mode, or is it strictly online/multiplayer only?
Footy mode?
@ToddlerNaruto the last Beta did so i think it's safe to assume the full release will
and it has single player mission modes ala Dragon Ball XenoVerse but no news on a story mode yet i'm afraid
I didn't get the opportunity to try out the beta. How does this fair compared to the previous CyberConnect2 Naruto games?
@WanderingBullet it pales if i'm honest, don't get me wrong it was fun but not a patch on the CC2 games
but then again it's not trying to be like them
@FullbringIchigo Thanks!
@FullbringIchigo Thanks for the clarification. What's the difference between single player mission modes and a story mode though?
@ToddlerNaruto well a story mode would have just that, a story either a retelling of the Naruto story or something new but the mission modes are just missions, like beat this boss or defeat this team or something like that with no narrative at all
@FullbringIchigo Oh okay gotcha.
