Things were looking pretty dire for Deadly Premonition director SWERY’s photography role-playing game The Good Life – but a very well-run campaign has just crossed its funding goal. It means that the title, in collaboration with Sony Music’s Unties label, will now enter full production. There are still 48 hours left for you to back, with an ambitious Nintendo Switch goal just announced.
You can download a demo of the title via its Kickstarter page if you want to see what it’s all about. The premise is that you’re a photographer in England, and you must use your snapping skills to both earn money and solve a murder mystery. It looks really good, and is targeting a November 2019 release on the PC and PlayStation 4 at least. You can learn more through here.

It might be interesting if the overall story is decent and it has a wide array of goofy characters, but I'm not going to be a backer for this one.
So, so happy to see this funded. Got on board when they were about half way and was really worried it wouldn't make it! The concept and visuals just look so good, and Swery is such a unique developer. Very exciting and really proud to be a backer for this one.
