Those of you who have been keeping up with Red Dead Redemption 2 will know that it was originally scheduled to launch in July of this year, but it was pushed into October back in February. Fortunately, parent company Take-Two seems wholly confident that another delay won't occur.
Speaking to business network CNBC, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick all but swore that Rockstar's latest will hit its 26th October release date. "Hand on heart," he said. "When I said hand on heart, it's over 1,000 people at Rockstar Games with their hands on their hearts."
So, it sounds like you can lock the date down on your calendar, maybe book a day off work without fear of Red Dead Redemption 2 slipping into next year. Do you plan on diving right into Rockstar's Western sequel? Rally your gang in the comments section below.

Now that would be a bummer! I'm sure the other publishers with games coming out in the holiday season would be happy if it was delayed
It better not be delayed, I've got a brand new spittoon being delivered on the 26th
Music to my ears! Gimme dat Red Dead.
@get2sammyb i bet million of people will call their bosses for take day off work on October 26 like they say they are sick
I may take a vacation day. I'm not sure... Hmmmmmmm.
give this to me now please but i didn't pre-order this yet due to it is not in Playstation Store for pre-order yet
I’m ready for this game, not gonna call in sick from work or anything like that though.
Pro-tip: Do not book a day off work that far in advance unless your employer is a pain about early booking. I did that with Uncharted 4 and wasted a vacation day.
Cant wait .the first one was a classic word up son
Don't jinx it!
Pre ordered, bring it!!!
@shonenjump86 Same, I just wait until my days off to play. Gaming isn't that important to me.
