Brilliant booze-‘em-up VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action will stagger to the PlayStation 4 in early 2019, following a PS Vita release late last year. For those out of the loop, the visual novel takes place in a dystopian future, where the drinks you mix will determine how the story progresses. It’s a superb title that captures the look of classics like Snatcher, while leveraging its sci-fi setting to tackle modern social issues.
The press release explains: “With 24 drinks to concoct, there is no one correct drink to serve in any given situation, as characters are impacted by whatever cocktail they are poured. Every character that comes through has a story to tell which reveals more about both their lives and the futuristic Glitch City, run by the mysterious Zaibatsu Corp.”
Coincidentally, we’ve been playing this recently – look for it in a future Indie Bin – and it comes highly recommended. If you simply can’t wait for next year’s console release, then give the PS Vita port a look – it’s, ahem, perfect for the portable.

This would be perfect for
PS4
@ShogunRok Co-incidentally, it has also been confirmed for release on Switch.
Played it on PC when it first came out. It's amazing on any platform. One of my all-time favorite indies.
This seems best on the Vita or PC. Both very much platforms that work best with simulations and novella.
Considering it never came out on Vita over here, I'm looking forward to it.
On Switch.
@Cassetticons Are you in Europe? Because it did stealth release in the end. That's why I started playing it — I was waiting for it as well.
@Cassetticons It’s out on Vita (EU)! Got it some weeks (or is it months?) ago.
I will be playing this on my PS4. I was gonna play it on Vita, but honestly I can't remember where I left it.
@Fight_Teza_Fight @get2sammyb Just found it. Came out last month it seems. That totally slipped me by. Whelp, I know what I'm playing this weekend!
Wow I really need to check this out, seems pretty interesting.
I got it on Vita when it was released in Europe and loved every minute of it. Higly recommended.
Looks interesting, I'll try it after finishing some of my backlog.
@get2sammyb awesome, thanks. Id been waiting for this to release. Got to love the common sense in those stealth releases...
Cross buy?
Why do so many Sim games have such weird, convoluted names?
Anyways, I'll probably give this a miss.
I like the art style, though.
