Vampyr's Latest Trailer Offers a Bite-sized Look at Combat

Combat looks mediocre but then the game isn't a 'combat' focused game like Bloodborne was. Until I play it, I can't say whether its good enough to be serviceable and doesn't really bring down the game, the story, the decision making and impact of that.

I hope that we're not forced to feed on innocents. I'd like to play the game as the good vampyr and only suck the bad guys dry.

The concept is still keeping this one alive for me (no pun intended), but yeah...combat kinda looks like a bad copy of Bloodborne. Interested but think I'll need to read the review first.

combat look okay.. it doesn't need copy same combat from Bloodborne. i hate Bloodborne after played it because it play like Dark Soul series. i hate it when i die by any enemies and lose items i found. dodge, dodge, attack, dodge, attack, dodge against bosses. ughhh god damn it

@get2sammyb At the end of the day though, as long as combat is functional and doesn't detract from the game, that's enough. You don't buy Uncharted for the gunplay.

I have got 6 or 7 out of 10 vibes from this come from the start. I'm still interested but I doubt day one.

Reminds me of Murdered Soul Suspect, cool concept, meh game.

You can finish the game without killing innocent people. (Will be rather hard)
The game has 4 endings btw.

Anyway i'm still getting this game. Combat might be average,but the Unique concept,historical setting and story already look to make up for that.

Score Will range from 6 to 7 but that's just a number. many good games have gotten average scores that should have been higher.
If it Will sell Well than the devs have completed their goal.

I thought it only looked ok. I'll have to see more gameplay, especially non-combat gameplay. So far, it's a pass.

I'll be buying this game after a price drop. Here in Canada, new AAA games are $80 which is quite a lot for the average gamer.

This game is going to be very mediocre. It's very obvious Bloodborne inspired. I can foresee a quick price drop on Steam, so I'll probably pick it up on PC at some point.
