Well, colour us surprised. Earlier in the week, news broke that upcoming hack and slasher Warriors Orochi 4 will have a playable roster consisting of a whopping 170 characters -- but according to new information, none of those characters will be guests from other Koei Tecmo franchises.
This means that unlike previous Orochi titles, characters like Ryu Hayabusa of Ninja Gaiden fame won't play a part. Apparently, this is because the developer wants to focus on the casts of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors. Fair enough, we suppose.
That said, one other interesting detail is that the game's main antagonist will be Zeus, the Greek god. Knowing this, it seems plausible that other figures of Greek mythology will also feature.
Warriors Orochi 4 is due out later this year in both Japan and the West. Are you looking forward to seeing the game in action? Try not to make a God of War reference in the comments section below.

It makes sense I suppose, now that we have Warriors All-Stars. They'll probably make more of those.
