It’s the one that PlayStation VR fans have been holding out hope for: Beat Saber is coming to PlayStation 4. The viral sensation sees you wielding a lightsaber in each hand, and smashing through blocks to the sound of electropop. It’s a wonderfully imaginative mechanic that looks both supremely difficult and outrageously satisfying.
This concludes Sony’s pre-E3 2018 announcements, which have also included Tetris Effect, Twin Mirror, Ghost Giant, and a release date for Days Gone. Not a bad selection at all – what were your thoughts on the PlayStation Countdown?

I can't wait to play this one, it looks amazing!
This looks so good.
For people who want a better grasp of how this works:
Looks great!
In addition to selling PSVR units, I can also see sales of flat screen TV's being bumped up by this. Many TVs will be impaled by accidentally thrown Move controllers.
Yess!!
Between this, Rez Infinite, Thumper & the Tetris Effect the party never stops !
This looks gawd damn awful. Sticking pins in my eye's and attempting to watch paint dry sounds more entertaining. Has E3 mentioned yet, what the eagerly anticipated PSVR game will be?
Looks like a lot of fun.
So bad it gets millions of views on YouTube! Lots of people watching paint dry!

@get2sammyb
I take it you don't read the PSVR Reddit sub? It's got millions hyped... Not!
@Hengist Who cares what people on Reddit say?
@Neolit I always thought Horror & FPS would do well in VR, but never did I think Rhythm games would take to it like they have.
@get2sammyb
I do, I'm a stickler for submitting to peer pressure.
@Hengist Poor guy. Haha!
@get2sammyb
Oh man, super excited for this one!!
@Neolit It's all good man, apart from a part of my original comment, I wasn't being too serious.
That actually looks pretty darn cool.
Looks awesome. Getting this and probably gonna smash my Moves, Headset, house, self up in the process. I can't wait.
I don't have vr, but I already see the previews on youtube, the game looks good and the music is great

Edit: Beaten lol
@get2sammyb OK so how do you post videos in the comments, everything i try just posts the URL?
anyway on topic it looks kind of fun but again as i don't have a VR not much use to me but like i said in the reveal stream, put in proper backgrounds and replace the squares with Droids and you have the makings of a good Star Wars VR game
Cool. I know a lot of people were stoked about this game when they played/saw it.
It seems to have all the ingredients of a massive hit.
This looks ridiculously cool!
@FullbringIchigo You need to put [youtube:VIDEOID.] without the '.' in it.
Interesting! Should burn some calories too.
@FullbringIchigo To build on what Sammy said, I type
[youtube:
then I copy the url from my Web browser - this works on PC, I won't even pretend to know how to do it on mobile with the app - and paste the whole thing after the : no spaces, then I delete everything after the : up to and including the = leaving the alphabet soup of letters, then I add the ] after.
So I do what Sammy said, but those are my actual steps. Which are probably not great, but it works for me.
Also, half the time it doesn't work, so I edit the post and save. Nobody knows why, but it usually works after that. You don't actually edit anything, just save.
@rjejr that sounds odd, must be some kind of glitch
Looks like something I'd be terrible at.
Wow this is my 10 year old selfs dream come true. Alas I am now older. The only Saber I will be beating is my own.
Guitar hero with light sabers can’t wait !!!!
I was convinced this was No Man's Sky getting VR, so this was a pleasant surprise! I mean, I still can't wait for NMS VR, but I'm sure it's coming so wouldn't have really been an announcement... more a confirmation.
It looks awesome, but I can see myself getting motion sick and/or headaches. Be worth a demo at least.
