E3 2018: Fallout Shelter Launches Today on PS4

As rumoured much earlier in the week, Fallout Shelter will launch today on the PlayStation 4, bringing with it a Platinum Trophy and some top-notch community management. The title has been downloaded over 120 million times on other platforms, which is an outrageous number. It'll still be free-to-play on PS4.

Only time I played this was on my phone back when it was originally announced a few E3's ago.

Since it's still free on the PS4 I'll probably give it another go. Earn a few trophies while I'm at it.

Worth noting, like with a lot of free to play games, there's a 'free' ps+ pack add on you can grab to go with this. Clearly to give you a taste for the microtransactions and suck you in but worth grabbing anyway I reckon. If you feel overly tempted to spend money after that, quickly grab the sledge hammer and smash the PS4 into a million pieces.

You never need to spend money on this game. Even if you did and were getting enjoyment from it then I do not see an issue.

First I was like "meh" but then I was like "okay!". Installed it this morning and I was kind of into it again. Checked my last save from my android phone and it's been just over a year since I last played it. If I could continue my save I would score every trophy in an instant but I don't mind doing it all again. It's a nice little piece of software (not calling it a game just yet). Hopefully they bring something new to the table pretty soon.
