We were treated to a first look at Rage 2's extended gameplay trailer at Bethesda's E3 conference this evening, and just as expected, it's bringing all the fun, fire, and fury, with maybe just a little more crazy.
Developers Avalanche Studios took to the stage to reveal the trailer, right after a energetic performance by singer-songwriter Andrew W.K.
Story details are still mostly underwraps, but we know you take the reigns of Walker, one of the last rangers of the Vineland, who must attempt to survive the hostile environment he was born into. Bethesda describes a place where "mankind is in peril", and "pockets of civilization have emerged to claim their space in the world", in its blog post. It's shaping up to be a pretty solid and fast-paced FPS title so far.
Rage 2 is expected to release in Spring 2019. What do think of the explosive trailer so far? You can watch it above, and don't forget to share your thoughts in the comments below!

I really liked what I saw during the conference.
I don't know if it was just me but I definitely got some Bulletstorm vibes from the gameplay. It seems like that kind of over the top, pure fun kind of shooter.
Looks mental.
It looks good, it seems 2019 will be a good year for games
I'll probably play this and the original eventually, but not high priority...
GAME OF THE SHOW for me so far....!!!
Enjoyed the first game but remember that boomerang being fun to throw.
