Can't wait to see all four of these games, to be honest.
@Quintumply Yup, exactly what you said! Although I am particularly keen for Death Stranding 🤩
My body is ready!
Three cheers for Sammy and the crew! Hip hip hooray.
Now get your sleep in lads your staying awake for 120 hours straight.
@themcnoisy
I genuinely wonder what MS will have to show this year?
PlayStation Nation welcomes the Big 4!
Phwoar, let’s go!
The fantastic 4 for the ps4.cant wait to see it all.especially ghost of tshushima.word up son
Chills
Sony has run clear this generation as they seem to have programmed every step. Fantastic realeses and exclusives that are driving the competition insane. This on a 5 year old machine.
AMAZING
@kyleforrester87 Is MS even at E3 this year or are they down the block doing their own thing? I feel like PS used to cover MS a lot more this time of year but I can't recall the last article about them.
I'm almost more curious to watch an MS show than Sony show at this point just to see what they show.
@kyleforrester87 A Crackdown 3 delay?
At least they have a couple of neat indie games and Cyberpunk, and probably other third parties.
@rjejr yeah it just seems they are completely out of the running this year. Maybe I just haven't been keeping too up to date on my multi platform sites, though. But you're right, I think PS usually have some articles assessing the competition around E3 time?
@Octane true. I am over Below though, I think. Which i assume is still coming..?
This is a big 4, apart from Spiderman I wonder what their release dates will be?
They all look great, but my hot one is Ghosts of Tsushima.
... as an XB1X and Pro/PSVR owner - this E3 is going to be really interesting! Bearing in mind for those people who are counting out M$ - don't - their Games Pass innovation (providing first-party titles like SoT and SoD2 for free) is knocking it out of the park, and many (like myself) buy any cross-platform game (like BF2, Onrush, Surviving Mars, etc.) on XB1X (better performance)... I think the next couple of years for M$ is consolidation... building really good foundations for XB2X(?) I've barely touched my Pro since getting it last Nov.. although these games are going to suck me right back in... the VR sale which starts tomorrow should get me VRing again too!
Not a lot of content in the video, but just enough to whet the appetite. I have to agree — these 4 games all look to be heavy hitters and I am excited to hear about them all. My gut tells me they each have potential to be a system seller.
@kyleforrester87 Well, I didn't know this either until I YouTube'd Below, but apparently IGN has a 20 minute gameplay demo from Below that was posted two months ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kJGeDuZeIc So I guess that's coming?
The Last Night looks pretty good though.
@OneManDroid Except that MS games are utterly garbage, lazy f2p titles. You also said that you don’t touched your PS4 even with many great exclusives already released this year.
Okay then, lol.
Problem with MS they have been so obessed with XBX that they didn't even make sure it had any decent first party or 3rd party exclusives or titles. All that power and what do they have to show for it hardly nothing new I mean I wouldn't a new class Gears, Halo or Forza as games I'd be looking forward too. Now if they didn't cancel Scalebound I would be because it's a new IP and if it took advantage of X1X then I would be. Crackdown 3 has been delayed so many times I wouldn't be shocked if it may end up being medicore at best, I loved 1 and I got 2 on 360 but man the difference is shockingly bad and it looks and plays rather poor. But if someone asked me about Xbox and games I really couldn't say much about it and it's a shame.
@kyleforrester87 "assessing the competition"
Yeah, sammy has written some Switch articles of late. But I think he only writes those so Shogun can threaten to ban anyone in the comments who mentions the Switch on Pushsquare.
@Octane Ori 2. It's the only game I regret trading in my Xbox for. Is it too soon for a Cuphead 2 announcement? Does Rare have another 30 games it could package? I bought my Xbox 1 b/c it was bundled w/ Rare Replay. Also been awhile since Gears of War 4 so 5 should be due for an announcement. I could see GoW 5 being the first X1X exclusive, might as well infuriate their 30m X1 install base.
You guys inspired me to use Google, MS has an E3 live presentation Sunday at 1PT, 4ET, when everyone in the US will be outside enjoying the nice weather or watching baseball. I guess 9PM is nice for the UK/EU crowd though.
@rjejr Ramsey is the worst
The snippets of Death Stranding in this vid has me a bit more intrigued about it.
@Kidfried @Quintumply Same here, I am so happy that most of the E3 panels are on my days off !
Super excited
@kyleforrester87 Almost shot tea out my nose and onto my keyboard, but I'm just coughing up a lung laughing now.
I'm surprised he hasn't been in here yet asking us to get back on topic, can't have people discussing E3 in an E3 article.
Must be his day off.
Finally watched the trailer. Looking forward to seeing it again in 2 years for E3 2020 w/ "4K" splashed all over it to promote the PS5 versions of the games.
My wallet is ready.
@rjejr hey, I love him really lol
@kyleforrester87 We all do, but he gets a bit carried away sometimes.
@rjejr Agreed, The Witcher 3 is an 8/10 - tops.
@kyleforrester87 I only just bought it a month ago, so I'll let ya know in 3 or 4 years when I finally get around to playing it. Shogun will be on his 3rd play through of the 4k PS5 version by then.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it this year. Hopefully I'll be in the live chat with everyone this time.
Count me amazed. Spidey is the one I'm least interested in but because Marvel stuff (or comics in general) are not my thing. But looks incredible anyway. They all seem like day one. Loving how Sony is working on first party/exclusives.
@lixei32 Yes, PS4 is so strong, and it keeps getting better. Almost like you don't want it to go away. PS5 will be around in (hopefully) two years, but having this last wave of games on Ps4 is so good... and maybe even something else!
My priorities:
1. The Last Of Us: Part II
2. Ghost of Tsushima
3. Spider-Man
Sorry, can't raise any interest in Death Stranding at all. Looks pretty, sure... but can't see it being anything other than a bizarre, overly-complicated mess.
