Loved the Witcher 3 but snake is more of a ps icon so I voted for him.

As much as I like Geralt, Snake has been around my life wayyy longer than Geralt.

Voting for Geralt. I'm more of a fan of Big Boss than Snake to be honest.

Two rather stereotypical characters, but Snake has guns and guns beats swords, so Snake gets my vote.

I stopped caring since this is rigged and we all know Kat is winning.

I prefer Geralt, but since we're talking about a PlayStation icon, Snake is no match for him unfortunately.

I have always based my decisions on who has been most impactful on the PlayStation platform. For me, Solid Snake IS PlayStation, he was probably responsible for selling more consoles than any other character other than Mario.

Not only is Solid iconic, the games were ground-breaking

@Frigaku Oh really? You joined on 14th June 2018 and only commented on last poll. You are one of people who rigged the tournament and have no right to tell others what to feel. This tournament is going on for years and regular users do care about it.

@YeYa New users joining the site in order to vote is not "rigging." Literally any fanbase can do the same thing. Isn't the main purpose of this tournament to bring increased traffic to the site anyway? Perhaps it's a good thing that so many Gravity Rush fans are discovering Push Square.

What is a big concern is when individuals start create bot accounts in order to turn the tables, like what was happening at the end of the Kat v Kratos round, when a vote for the latter was being added per minute. I don't know if there's anything the admin here can do about that though.

@Acquiescence Wait, you are saying that contafting huge base of character fanboys that have no conection at all with the poll and asking them to vote for a certain character because it was losing is not "rigging"? Btw Kratos would have won if poll was lasting normal time because actual users (I mean not fanboys) outnumbered you. I have no problem with new people joining the site (why would I? 🙂) but with these practices. If Kat actually wins beacuse of this I am giving up on this. It is sad that this happened after all that time...

@YeYa Oh, I wasn't aware they cut Kratos's poll time shorter than Kat's. No wonder she won. Vote was rigged after all.

This is the only way your "shorter poll time" argument could hold any water. But they both got the same amount of time. And Kratos only got a huge surge in votes pretty late into the poll, which is suspect, since going off of trends, the bulk of the votes for these polls happens in the first day or two. So either a) Dad of War Twitter finally banded together and voted, but too late, (or, as you would put it, a bunch of "fanboys" unconnected to the poll raided the poll) or b) foul play was involved — maybe ghost accounts, maybe bots.

No matter which way you slice it, it's safe to assume these new votes he got weren't "actual users." Don't believe me? Look at Kratos's vote counts in his matchups prior to Kat v Kratos. Nowhere near what he got in the end.

It's fine if Kratos's social media helped pull in a few extra hundred votes. I mean, what's fair is fair, right? I just don't see why you're pretending like Kratos fans did any different. The attempt might've failed, but they tried all the same. Besides, don't you think it's a little silly to be throwing that word, "fanboys," around in a tournament where fans get together to vote for their favorite characters?

Oh this was by far the hardest one yet for me cuz I love both of these guys. But Geralt is not a PS longtime icon and Snake most certainly is so its gotta be Snake.

@jim_bob_89 Dude, after a nes and a snes, I went for a psx instead of a N64, it was a psx+mgs integral bundle and it changed my life. Most other games seemed childish to me after that.

@Frigaku Thats funny you mentioned that cuz I also had a NES, then later went to SNES and I had a buddy who had a N64. I had to choose between a PSX or N64 and thank God I made the choice to go PSX and ever since I have owned nothing but Sony consoles!!
