Bungie will officially reveal what it’s describing as “Year 2” for Destiny 2 next week. As part of a livestream scheduled to air on Twitch from 9AM PT, the broadcast will presumably include the very first details on the sequel’s next major expansion pack. Fans are expecting something similar to Destiny: The Taken King, and after two very disappointing DLC drops, we get the sense that the developer needs to bring the heat.
There was talk of the expansion including a “never before seen” mode, which certainly sounds intriguing until it inevitably turns out to be some form of Battle Royale option. Either way, we’ll host the stream here so you can tune in live and see what the studio’s got in store.

I'm still a big destiny fan but don't have as much time to gain max power, plus play other games.destiny 2 isn't as good as destiny 1 but hopefully in time it will improve. Coupled with the fact the maps for the planets are a lot smaller. .Hopefully we get a dlc similar to taken king
Well honestly I DO like Destiny 2. I got too hyped for 1 and was massively let down, but I had a proper expectation for the sequel and I have been quite enjoying it. I wouldn't hate a Destiny 2 Battle Royale either. The gunplay is pretty satisfying overall (something I can't always say for the other two big BR's) so maybe I'd have a chance.
The trash bin? XD
Anyway, they can start thinking about a sequel now
Blowin goats
Maybe Destiny 3 will finally be the Destiny 1 we all wanted 🤔🤔
An expansion that's like Taken King from D1 and then talk of D3
I want them to concentrate on loot and skins and call it 'The Fallen Bling'.
Hopefully something to keep us "En-Thralled", yes?
Can't bring myself to get excited about this tbh. Haven't even loaded it up since the Warmind dlc and I already paid for it. D2 was just a disappointment on so many levels. Deej is just the personification of corporate spin and needless waffling. Hope they release something that people who are still playing will enjoy though!
I liked D2's campaign more than D1. There was at least something to experience unlike D1 just running around not having any idea WTF is going on and having to read lore in grimoire cards.
Warmind is actually quite nice in some aspects. It has quite a bit of interesting lore to it, but it is short and felt mostly like Bungie just trying to quickly get to a certain point, rushing the story etc.
Let's see now what this brings. I still play destiny, because there is really nothing much else out there for me until Anthem will come out. I also got myself an Xbox One X now so I could play the HALO series and this is also where I realized many common things between HALO and Destiny, but also where HALO is superior to Destiny. We will finally see if that bungie community summit actually tackled the glaring issues with the game or if Bungie really just doesn't care about the story and PVE part of the game at all.
Integrate all D1 content into D2 (as it should have been anyway) and I'll be interested.
I really want to like this game, waiting for a price drop to pick up the dlc, by which point I'll be seriously under-levelled and have to solo play up to power cap...
There is a cracking game there somewhere underneath all the weird decisions, cash grabs and player base divisions, I hope it will all come together at some point.
LOL, Destiny 2 year 2 is Destiny 3 isn't it? They will never pull back the 80% of the playerbase that walked away. I still think they will pull the servers early next year and call the whole thing a day.
Okay so I watched the whole stream and the impression I got from the game director and project lead is that they don’t seem to care much about the story and the world. They seem to care more about guns and ”shooting monsters in their face”.
I dont have time for games that feel like wasting my time just shooting around without good reasons. Let’s see what the E3 will show us about the story part.
Currently I am looking more forward to Anthem because in the videos and discussions with BioWare they mentioned more about the world and the story, not much about shooting monsters in their face. Although they didn’t show the story, they at least mention it, whereas Bungie just talks about guns and shooting aliens.
