Innovative Minecraft-inspired MMO Boundless will begin its interplanetary adventure from 11th September on the PlayStation 4, developer Wonderstruck has announced. The gargantuan online game pretty much lets you do whatever you like in its enormous sandbox, building settlements and trading items as you see fit. Of course there’s a combat element as well, but you don’t even have to interact with it if you don’t want to.
You can play solo or collaboratively – either with a small group of friends or with an entire community. The trailer embedded above does a better job of illustrating the things you’ll get up to in the game, but really the main takeaway is that it’s a title where you can set your own objectives. It sounds ambitious, but it’s a shame the artstyle isn’t a bit more inviting; those player avatars look horrific in our humble opinion.

Too... many... games... in... September...
Just like Minecraft, it looks ugly to me.
@Derpie1
You got there before me.
I saw the release date and clicked to say the same thing. I'm sticking with Spider-Man for now.
I barely have enough time to get my money's worth of FFXIV let alone the old default of Destiny 2 when I don't have time for a proper FFXIV session.
As for all the bargains flying around, forget those.
Wow this new Gormiti game looks dope!
In all seriousness that fight scene looked chaotic as hell lol and a bad way of chaos, didn't seem that fun!
Also, the animations look pretty stiff!
@nathanSF I’ll be on that Dragon Quest XI & Spyro. Maybe I’ll grab Spidey depends tbh.
For a sandbox, build anything and work alone or collaboratively, Dreams would blow this out of the water, if it ever comes out.
They showed this game years ago I completely forgot about it and what it was called, happy to see its coming out
