Bandai Namco will be sharing information on the future of Dragon Ball FighterZ at the end of the month. The publisher plans on hosting a Japanese livestream on the 29th July that'll detail what's in store. It'll also feature a team tournament with some of Japan's best pro players.
More downloadable character reveals may well be on the cards since only four of eight promised fighters have been released so far. If a datamining leak is to be believed -- it's been 100 per cent correct so far -- then we could be getting our first look at regular Goku and Vegeta, or Android 17 and Cooler.

to be honest what it needs is more single player and offline content to be added because pretty much the only people online with it now are the fighting game experts which normal players have no chance against
i going to say it, while FighterZ has the LOOK of Dragon Ball down pat and it's pretty fun with a brilliant fighting system XenoVerse 2 is still a better Dragon Ball experience, it provides more content, a bigger more robust story line and loads of characters to play as
That's 2 months before the Switch release. Since this will be in Japan I wouldn't be surprised if there is some Switch news. My son plays DBXV2 on PS4 all the time, he's waiting for this one on Switch.
I'd rather have more story/offline updates personally...but good to know game is still being maintained.
