Sony is sure to be ramping up its marketing efforts for Spider-Man on PS4 over the next few weeks, but it's already made an interesting start that you may not know about. The platform holder has been publishing monthly issues of the famous New York newspaper from the Spidey universe, The Daily Bugle.
Only two have been released so far, but they detail the events leading up to the beginning of Insomniac's PS4 exclusive, including the apprehension of villains such as Electro and Rhino, Norman Osborn's push for re-election as Mayor, and plenty more. There are even some new story tidbits worth paying attention to, such as an addictive street drug named Grave Dust turning people violent.
If you want to keep up to date with the lore behind Insomniac's version of Spider-Man, click here to view both issues of The Daily Bugle, and expect another one in August.

Oh god, just imagine if JJJ knew about Spider-Man games. He'd be like Jack Thompson in comic form.
"SPIDERMAN IS A MENACE, AND THESE VIDEO GAMES WHERE YOU CONTROL HIS TERRIBLE POWERS ARE CORRUPTING OUR YOUTH! PARKER! GET ME PICTURES OF THIS GAME OR YOU'RE FIRED!!!"
