Dobuita Street is perhaps the most memorable location from the original Shenmue game. Home to Tom’s hot-dog stand, Nozomi’s flower shop, and… Like, a car park, it’s the central shopping district in the first instalment. It’s also a real-life place with real-life inspirations, as explained in this excellent Shenmue I & II promotional video.

It's not a shenmue place without any sailors
It's cool to see the signage there so similar to how it looks in-game. Kind of surreal heheh.
Cool video. I'm so hyped for this re-release.
Setting my brain to the year 2000, Dreamcast era so expectations are in check. Cannot wait to loose myself and take my sweet time in the world again.
When this comes out I'll be revisiting my past. This is as close to time travel as it gets without a flying Delorian.
That's funny. I live about a 20 minute drive from yokosuka and have been down dobuita street a few times. I've never seen Ryo there though...
@hi_drnick he's been stuck in rural China the last 15 years, probably looking for sailors or having kids getting hit on the head with a Football.
