As was hinted at earlier today, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s anticipated Battle Royale mode Blackout will be officially unveiled soon – and you’ll be able to put it through its paces from 10th September on the PlayStation 4. A very brief new trailer suggests that you’ll be able to play in squads of up to four, but don’t worry if you want to play as a lone wolf, as that’ll be an option as well.
There’s a lot of enthusiasm for this mode, namely because it sounds so promising. Treyarch has said that fans can expect one huge map, which will be packed with locations inspired by classic Black Ops maps. While it’s obviously riding the coattails of Fortnite and PUBG, we haven’t been this eager to learn about a Call of Duty mode in a while. Let’s hope it delivers.

Damn, I'll miss this, I'll be away on holiday.
Is it free to play?
@LaNooch1978 Actually, no. For whatever reason, we get horrendous traffic on Call of Duty, Battlefield, Overwatch, etc stuff on this site. I guess we just have a different audience really.
This has my slight interest.....
The player models still look more like GI Joe action figures than soilders in the military though
This will be the only reason I play Black Ops 4 at all.
