If you’ve been waiting to play Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories, then you’ve probably been waiting a long time. This game was originally set to release on the PlayStation 3 all the way back in 2011, but the Tōhoku earthquake meant that it was cancelled outright. The survival title will finally launch on the PlayStation 4 in October, and developer Granzella’s lined up a demo for Japan in anticipation.
The demo is due out on 16th August, and you can watch some footage of it embedded above. There’s still no word on this game making its way overseas, but we’d be surprised if it didn’t hit Western shores eventually.

I can't be the only one that saw that thumbnail and thought it was Ellie?
@Splat Nope!
Fingers crossed that this demo hits ps store Hong Kong on the same day,since the site is in English,and im signed up. Most of the time they have the same demos the Japan store has. It would really be a chore to make a Japan account. With ther language barrier,it would be over 2 hours.
Looks cool. There's another one with ultraman and kaijus, but I forgot what it was called.
@tameshiyaku That game is called City shrouded in shadow,or otherwise known as kyoei toshi. Sadlt that was also Japan only.
I loved the one back on PS2!
@hulkie thanks man. Probably won't ever get a localisation of these games.
It really looks like they just picked up production of the 2011 game and went from there. What I'm saying is that it looks like an early ps3 game with those graphics which in turn makes me think they didn't try to do much for it being on the PS4. I think I"ll give this a pass until 5 comes out.
Im definitely getting this game. Its been cancelled once before so im happy it’s finally get released.
