Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will stab you in the back from 22nd March, publisher Activision has announced. We thought the date had leaked when a Steam page went live earlier this evening, but a press release has swiftly followed, including news of a Collector’s Edition inside.
The premium package will include a copy of the game, a seven inch statue, a steelbook case, a collectible art book, a map, a digital soundtrack, and some replica in-game coins. Pre-orders will also open on the PlayStation Store today if you prefer digital over physical these days.
So there you have it, there’s not long until FromSoftware’s latest and greatest draws its sword. Enthusiasm for this project doesn’t seem to be all that high considering it’s the next big thing from the Dark Souls team, but perhaps this week’s Gamescom 2018 showing will amp things up a bit.

I am the only one that thinks this is really soon?
The beginning of the next year looks packed with lot of games already.
Does this game play same like Bloodborne or Dark Soul ? if not then i hope it play like God of War
@NintendoFan4Lyf
can't upvote this enough.
i am happy that it is not dark souls for a change.
kinda getting tired of the whole "darks souls is the only thing they should make,everything else is a rip off" vibe some dark souls fans always shout out.
wtf this game's pre-order gonna be up in PSN Store but Days Gone didn't
@NintendoFan4Lyf I agree 100% with you, it makes me so sick when people start saying this stupidity.
cant wait for this game.word up son
@Athrum Based on what? There was never any info on how far the game was developed when they showed it at E3.
I'm happy for this game and I can't wait. I'm sure there will be some "soulesque" gameplay. We shall see as we get closer to release.
@NintendoFan4Lyf also grammatically incorrect
Defo getting this on day 1, might even get the edition with all the tat lol.
@PS4fan As far as I know, none of those games. There will be no player creation or stats to level up. You can block and parry like in the Dark Souls games but combat is supposed to be quite a bit faster. And there will be more stealth and vertical options available to the player.
Reminds me I still need to finish Bloodborne
I miss the days of collector's edition like this that came with a statue and some extra goodies and was only $90.
@NintendoFan4Lyf Can't argue with that.
How much you wanna bet that's the same day DMC5 comes out?
I want that collector's edition. I always get nervous when a new game has a great CE because it gets me on the hook but the IP could be terrible. Oh well.
It's the Activision logo that gives me pause. Now I'm suspicious about those in game coins.
I might want that collectors edition. I also feel like Gamestop has had March (can't rememberwhen specificlly the day) as the release date for a while. It's release area is no surprise to me because of that. I can't wait for this game though.
Great release date looking forward to gameplay.
