What the heck is this? Ubisoft releasing a new video before 5PM here in the UK? Absolute madness.
The French publisher is no stranger to really good trailers, and this launch trailer for Assassin's Creed Odyssey really gets the blood pumping. We could maybe do without the quotes from websites not named Push Square, but whatever.
Odyssey is only a week or so away from release, and at this point, we just want to get our hands on it and see if it's a cut above the mighty Assassin's Creed Origins. Will you be picking it up? Become a hardened mercenary in the comments section below.

This and fist of the North star next week and then a few weeks later red dead 2, my poor wallet
@suikoden I know, brutal isn't it?
I loved AC Origins to bits, but I'm probably going to wait on Odyssey.
Too many games releasing in October, so something has to give.
@LaNooch1978 Yeah, from the gameplay that I've seen, it's really not that much different.
I'll wait until it's around half price before buying. I can wait.
Something to keep my mind off RDR. I can't wait...
Looking forward to this... Origins was great so I won't be disappointed if its more of the same...
@LaNooch1978 Agree but I think the choice aspect may be interesting (although I'm expecting any implementation of choice to be really bare-bones). Will need to see how much choice matters, otherwise I can wait too. Also, they need to make exploring First Civ locations more interesting. Reviews first for me. Just hope reviewers aren't pulled in by weak implementation of innovation
I've played it already, it's quite the same as Origins but with some additional stuff which is nice. But Greece looks stunning, I'm feeling like I'm on holiday there, when I see it. Love Greece, hope I can get there on (Santorini) Thira Island in game. Not buying it yet, due to Origins not finished and Rdr2 incoming.
I own and love all of the Assassins Creed games (I even had a great time with III and Unity) and I do have Odyssey pre ordered however......I am a little worried at the direction the series has taken with the introduction of mythical creatures.
It was the historical setting that I found irresistible and it seems from the trailers I have seen that Medusa and Cyclops will both feature in ths game and this detracts quite heavily from the historical accuracy I enjoy.
On a side note, if Medusa's hair consists of snakes, does her armpit (and other🙄) hair consists of little snakes...just wondering
