Days Gone may not have the intense enthusiasm of Death Stranding or The Last of Us: Part II behind it, but it’s still a big game for Sony – and a huge project for Syphon Filter developer Bend Studio. As such, the title was put under the spotlight during a Japanese livestream earlier today, and while the trailer consisted of mostly content we’ve seen before, it still makes for an entertaining watch.
We reckon that this game is probably more or less finished at the time of typing, but the platform holder delayed into next year for “commercial reasons” – namely Red Dead Redemption 2. We reckon that this will find its audience when it launches, though, as you can’t really go wrong with motorcycles and zombies, can you?

I saw a puddle
Any other Central Oregonians here? I live in Bend and the game appears to take place in the nearby areas of the Cascade. I'm very curious to explore some familiar locales if the developers went that route.
@JJ2
But for how long will it last? Still like the look of this it’s simmering away at the back of my mind till next year when it ready
Can't wait for Days Gone , Sony give us a limited edition PS4 Pro !!!
Yep its loooking great. Day 1 buy so long as ive got the $. SO many day 1 buys coming though dear lord! Lol
@gingerfrog
My only concern is to figure out which version to get. Disc or download?
I usually get discs but this game special to me. Also with the PS5 in mind I'm not sure what would be best regarding RDR2 as well.
Looks good but would much rather have a new syphon filter
for me, that's the best looking trailer yet for this.
Oh man, I can't wait for this game, more anticipated for this than I was for Spiderman.
Looking forward to this game, but is anyone else cringing with that stupid cartoony, screaming zombie woman once again shows up?? The "hunched over panning yell" animation and the disproportionate jaw and rubber mouth are just so 90's CGI movie. It's so terribad and they just keep showing it over and over... oh the shame.
@JJ2 haha
This will be a fun one as long as it is not too repetitive.
@Party_Cannon Yeah, it's why I used it as the thumbnail.
I can't decide if I cringe-hate it or cringe-love it. I think a bit of both!
Looking forward to this more than TLoU2 because it has a release date.
@get2sammyb I actually love it, that scream and wide open jaw scares the hell out of me.
These zombie things remind me somewhat of the Will Smith film "I Am Legend", very similar. I really hope this is as good as the trailers would suggest, just itching to try it!
Trailer's got my hyped but I doubt I'll be pre-ordering, not exactly a big zombie fan anymore.
