Everybody’s Golf is making the transition to PlayStation VR, and we’re all fore the idea. While details are light, Sony announced the game as part of its Japanese LineUp Tour livestream earlier today. Judging by the trailer, you can expect the same vibrant environments, but you’ll be teeing off in first-person with PlayStation Move wands.
We’ve been baffled by the serious lack of golf games in virtual reality, so we’re looking forward to hitting the fairway when this launches next year.
Update (12:45 BST): There's a bit more information about Everybody's Golf VR been released, courtesy of the PlayStation Blog. You'll be able to play with either the DualShock 4 or PS Move, but both will use motion sensors to allow you to swing like a real golf club.
A few screenshots have been released, too:
Looking good, isn't it?

@BowTiesAreCool You're hired.
The character faces are much more detailed, too.
Is this an update to the existing game or a standalone title?
@Hrimgrimnir
Stand alone title.
I found the last game a step back somehow it looked worse then the PS3 game. 😭
Love it, like to see a discount for those who already own the game.
@Flaming_Kaiser I liked the open world format. It was definitely a different take on the series.
Love all the Everybody’s Golf games, including the last one. I said it should’ve had a VR mode, glad they are finally giving us one. Another day one VR game for me!
Those "screenshots" have a little disclaimer at the bottom saying "may not be representative of final game"
@mclarenrob2
I know, right?
It's gonna look even better than that.
The biggest screen shot looks like it might be a replay in progress.
Like you're standing there watching yourself take the swing.
If so, AWESOME.
This should of been an update to the game, like WipeOut offer.
I'm out.
Wow , I'm interested . Don't have VR yet but had my 2nd go last weekend , played the shark cage thing after a few drinks at a party , very impressed.
