Remember Alpha Protocol? That modern spy RPG from Obsidian that became a bit of a cult hit? It launched all the way back in 2010 on PS3, and while it failed to impress critics, it garnered a fan following who enjoyed it, warts and all.
Jump to yesterday, and the co-founder of Limited Run Games, a firm that prints small quantities of physical editions for niche or otherwise digital only titles, asked Twitter whether anyone would want a remaster of Alpha Protocol for modern consoles. The poll is, as you may imagine, heavily in favour of a remaster, but will it actually happen? Well, here's Obsidian's response:
We know, it's only an emoji, but the fact that the developer has drawn attention to this makes us wonder if we'll see Alpha Protocol on PS4 in the near future. Would that be something you'd like to see? Speculate in the comments below.

i know it got a bit of a bad rep but i loved it and would like to see a sequel, was it bugged , yes but so are the elder scroll/fallout games and this was for me less bugged than those and more fun
I would def be down for this! alpha protocol is such an underrated game
One of my fave games of last gen. Sure, it was heavily flawed in terms of gameplay but damn it had a good story and characterisation. Obsidian are the masters of rough diamonds.
Wasn't it really buggy though but enjoyed by a list of fans think I have this on steam
I'm one of those who thought Alpha Protocol was really good. I played it on the Xbox 360 and did not experience any issues with it, by the time I played it anyway (not at launch). It was, and still is, a rather unique action-RPG as far as AAA-titles go. My main complaint concerned the puzzles, I've never liked these kind of hacking puzzles, whether it's Alpha Protcol, BioShock, Deus Ex or other. I think they are more annoying than fun.
I liked this game. I thought it did certain things better than BioWare when they were the masters at the time.
Pretty sure SEGA owns the license for this game, but it's very fun when modded.
I played this when I had a 360. It had it's niggles, but it was solid. I wouldn't mind having another go if this happened.
I never played this before so I'd be interested...however definitely won't be a day 1 purchase, will wait for bargain bin sale down the road.
Great game. Once I figured out it was more RPG than shooter, I fell in love!
Wut? thought this game was a flop?
Never play it cos I remember reading it's a mess on PS3
@whywai88
missed out on a great game and hell of a less buggy than the elder scrolls/fallout games but they always get a pass, if they were held up to the same standards as games like this because of bugs they would of rated less than this. many great games that had low ratings
