You may remember that, back in March, Ubisoft bought Blue Mammoth Games, the developer of Brawlhalla. The enjoyable and popular 2D brawler has been under the Ubi umbrella for several months now, but it's all been business as usual for the small team. However, during a live stream at PAX West, Matt Woomer, the head of Blue Mammoth, was visibly ecstatic to announce the game's very first cross-over fighter, and it's Rayman that joins the roster.
The limbless platforming hero will enter Valhalla on 6th November, but that's all the information we have for now. Woomer delivered a short preamble to the announcement, stating that the team had admired the character for 20 years, calling him the "gold standard" for hand drawn art and animation, making him a good fit for the visual style found in Brawlhalla.
What do you think of this announcement? Will you be playing as Rayman when he joins Brawlhalla's ranks in November? Glide down into the comments below.

Is it just me or are we getting characters that Smash have yet to include in the roster?
I've been wanting Rayman to be in Super Smash Bros for a while now. This is probably about as close to that dream as we're ever going to get, but the free-to-play and DLC aspects of Brawlhalla are very off-putting.
@crimsontadpoles to be fair, if you buy the founder's pack you get all current and future characters unlocked. It's kinda like, well, buying the game.
This is cool, but I still wish we had another Rayman game coming.
@DerMeister You and me both.
