Earlier in the year, Sony launched its range of discounted PS4 titles, called PlayStation Hits. Much like the Platinum range on PS3, these are much cheaper versions of some of the best games on the system, including games like Bloodborne, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, and The Last of Us Remastered. Today, the platform holder is expanding the range in both Europe and North America, which offer ever so slightly different titles.
In the US, games like Dying Light, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, and Dragon Age: Inquisition join the roster, while Europe gets the likes of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. Both territories are also getting Until Dawn and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. The new wave of games joins PlayStation Hits on 2nd November.
All the games included are reduced to $19.99/£15.99, so they're worth considering if you're missing a major game from your collection.

I think one thing that's really cool about the PS4 at this stage in its life is that if you haven't bought one yet you can jump in and get absolutely LOADS of amazing games for not much money at all.
Awesome! I’m still a relatively new PS4 owner, I’ve been waiting to get the Nathan Drake Collection at a decent price for ages now so I’ll jump on this!
@get2sammyb True. But also true of every console at this stage of their cycle. I envy players who can wait to get a reduced $ console and a great selection of games. I'm not a day one guy but don't wanna wait 6 years either.
I wonder why US and Europe get different games.
Already bought until dawn a couples of sales ago, I need to play it
I wince a little when I think what I paid for NDC but that’s 3 of my favourite games right there so cant really complain.
My PS4 was the Nathan Drake Collection bundle, and I bought The Last Of Us Remastered a while ago in a sale on the US PS Store, so that's my fix of the PS3's greatest hits right there.
Game lines like GH don't mean as much when these games have all been on sale either digitally or during Black Friday sales for this price or less already. The new cases do give retailers some new look stuff on the store shelves though for people who still shop in stores.
Nintendo on the other hand likes to release older games in new boxes with stickers or guides for full price, so I do like these cheaper versions better.
Used games already did most of this a while ago.
@Jaz007 the price of the used titles get marked up because of it, the greatest hits range is kinda pointless these days.
an example is killzone which could be brought for around £5 has now been marked up due to greatest hits and the price to sell it is still worth nothing.
@exopiscea yeah but then you lose out on the playing at the time of release factor so if graphics are something you like then with most games it will look the best it can look.
Exaggerated analogy but say you waited a few years to buy a ps1 and never saw the transition from FF6 to FF7...its unlikely you will feel the same about the game
Erm...some of those games in NA are ALREADY $19.99 lol. xD
@exopiscea The other factor to it is if you buy a console at the end of its life (just before or after its successor is released i mean) and buy all those games youve missed there is no way at all that you will get through them all and will also still have to contend with brand new games being released on the new consoles, although in your case you wouldnt be buying it for years so not too much of an issue there
I need Horizon, is it in this collection yet?
@Nezkeys79 @Imagremlin @AstralOrange64 @get2sammyb This is what I usually end up doing as well.
I didn't own a PS4 until the Slims were on sale for $200 New during Black Friday 2017 last year, and I've only bought/played a few 2018 games so far.
However I do plan on preordering some games/buying full price now to support them, like RDR2, Spyro, KH3, RE2, DMC5 etc.
Otherwise, my plan is to continue playing thru older games in the PS4 library...was working thru Rise of the Tomb Raider, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, and recently started both Until Dawn and Resident Evil 1 HD.
