There were reports today that Telltale Games was looking for a new company to re-hire former staff in order to finish up the final two episodes of The Walking Dead, which was wild in its own rights. However, this is a story that keeps escalating by the day, and now it’s emerged that the skeleton crew which was kept around to polish off some outstanding projects has been… Well, made redundant.
News comes courtesy of the understandably miffed narrative designer Rachel Noel, who posted the following message on social media:
It’s believed that the remaining staffers were retained in order to finish off a version of Minecraft: Story Mode which was being made for Netflix, but it’s unclear if they actually managed to conclude their work. From the outside looking in, this whole thing stinks, and our thoughts go out to all the employees who’ve had their lives turned upside down by this.

Hope these people find employment and financial stability soon.
Crying @ the "nah jk"
Hope they find new employment soon apart from the management who reek of incompetence and greed.
They really couldn't pour water out of a boot with instructions written on the heel.
Damn this is becoming worse day by day. Hopefully netflix can aid the skeleton crew and at least help through the upcoming holiday period (although out of all the series telltale why on earth did they pick minecraft story mode? Did they play from series 1 ep 5 onwards? Lol). This debacle will be ongoing for sometime to come and hopefully will bring change to the industry on how developers are treated. Between Konami and Telltales high profile exposures something has to be done
Damn and here I was hoping we'd get to see a conclusion to TWD Final Season.
