FMV games have well and truly risen from their graves, so it’s nice to see that Double Switch: 25th Anniversary Edition will follow in the footsteps of its SEGA CD counterpart Night Trap and score a physical release via Limited Run. The “classic” effectively sees you work alongside an apartment owner named Eddie Edwards, triggering traps to reveal mysteries about the building. It’s crap, but all these games were.
The title will be available digitally from 11th December, but pre-orders for the physical release will go live from 2nd November. There’s a trailer embedded above.

Games like this should come also with the original, non-HD, grainy full motion video, not enhanced in any way. You know, for those who want the authentic, early 90's FMV gaming experience.
Can someone explain how these games work? Like...what’s the ‘game’ aspect? It is like Heavy Rain if it was made 20 years prior?
@Stragen8 you're kinda on the right path, but instead of pushing 'X' to JASON!, you push 'B'.
Why's every one so hyped for Red Dead Redemption 2 when you have games like this on the horizon??
Im still waiting for them to release ICEY on limited run.
