Despite being an anime and manga crossover brawler that covers a load of different properties, Jump Force sure has a lot of Dragon Ball characters. Piccolo and Cell have just been confirmed via the latest issue of V-Jump, meaning that the game now features Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, Golden Frieza, Piccolo, and Cell -- although three of those are transformations.
Expect to see the two newcomers in a trailer at some point soon, but until then, feel free to bring out your best Cell impression and trash talk the comments section below.

to be honest i think most characters will come from Dragon, Naruto and One Piece, they are still the big 3 in the west and the game is being targeted to the western audience, hence why it's reveal trailer was focused on those 3 and why it was at the XBOX stage at E3 last year
although be fair, SSBlue Goku and Vegeta and Golden Frieza are all transformations and not different characters
@FullbringIchigo Good point, I've updated the article to make it more clear.
Super Saiyan Blue Goku
They are pushing him hard ahead of the Broly movie, even has his own float in the Macy's Thanskgiving Day parade.
For those who don't know or care about the parade, it has a tv viewership every year around 25 million, which is a lot.

I’m starting to think the chance of Cobra making the cut seems less likely now. I definitely get that Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece are really big in the West but I don’t want other Jump series to get neglected. Well, there’s still time. And I heard a rumor that two Runouni Kenshin characters will make the cut.
Nice Piccolo is one of my favorite characters in DBZ
@rjejr Damn almost makes me wish I could go to New York just to see that live and in person.
@KidBoruto I went to the parade once about 40 years ago when I was a teenager, all I remember is being cold and Santa at the end. Every year I say I'm going to take my kids but every year I have to stay home all day and cook the turkey. Maybe I'll get them to watch ti on TV though.
@rjejr I live on the opposite edge of U.S. in California, so never happening lol.
Also wut, you're in your 50's? You sound like a 35-40 year old.
NARUUUUUTTTOOO but sweet Cell and Piccolo nice! Honestly i don't get why people say "Can the cac saiyan get ssj?" but the cac is yourself in the real world i guess you get their powers or something? i guess we will learn in the story!
P.s. who can't wait for JUMPFORCE????
@KidBoruto 53, but I lived in Kentucky for 8 years so those years don't count, so it's more like 45.
NY parade would be on from 6-9 for you right? Maybe somebody will make a Goku out of roses for New Years.
@rjejr Haha you're hilarious XD.
Pff that's a DB Super reference isn't it? I still need to watch that.
@KidBoruto The roses? That's not a Super reference, that's a Pasadena Rose Parade reference since you said you were in California.
I haven't seen Super either. Nor GT. We own GT, the box set is sitting on a shelf waiting for us to finish DQXI but that game just wont' end. I'd rather watch Super, but I gotta go in order, it's an OCD thing.
@rjejr I don't pay much attention to what's going on in California (or the world) unless someone tells me.
GT is alright...has it's moments and it was one of my fave animes as a young adult/early teen.
I heard DB Super is alot more faithful and has direct involvement with series owner Akira Toriyama.
@KidBoruto Toriyama
Rumour has it that Super only exists b/c Toriyama thought the live action movie was so bad he had to make people forget about it. I haven't' seen it myself but my 2 kids tell me it's as horrible as advertised. I did watch Cinema Sins for it, that was pretty good.
@rjejr I actually saw the DragonBall movie, trust me it's alot worse.
Whatever can make people forget that movie existed, I'm all in for.
@KidBoruto
