Not every gaming series is delving into mobile territory. Just recently, publisher and developer Grinding Gear Games announced its hit free-to-play action RPG Path of Exile will be slashing its way to the PlayStation 4 this December.
While it made its debut back in 2013 on PC, starting last year the developer has started to show some love for consoles. Since then, the game has received numerous expansions that have apparently made it a worthwhile reason to continue playing to this very day. Not to mention, it will make its PS4 debut alongside its "largest expansion" as of yet.
Will you join the path this Christmas? Let us know in the comments below if you will choose to be an exile.

Y...you can also play it on tablets...
Will check out for sure.
FtP plus Diablo, yes Sir count me in.
I have Diablo 3 on multiple systems so why would I need this???
This is such a well timed announcement. Somehow I doubt this news would have come had Diablo 4 actually been announced at Blizzcon, but now that everyone's salty about the mobile Diablo (me included) this is fantastic.
Im very happy to hear this. I tried this on laptop.... couldn't do the key board mouse thing. Im going to give this another try. I love diablo hopefully I can love this at least half as much.
@Tasuki maybe because other than being the same genre it’s different from diablo and def worth playing
That developer's name, tho...
@Tasuki so you lock yourself to just one game per genre? Good to you, the rest like choices and to play different games in the same genre.
@dark_knightmare2 @NecuVise Honestly, it’s a genre that doesn’t need much besides Diablo. Others I’ve played just aren’t as good, and genre, personally speaking, becomes boring very quickly when it’s not as good. It just doesn’t many games a genre honestly.
@Jaz007 to each their own I guess. I've played and enjoyed many games in the genre over the years and many besides me.
@NecuVise Actually I do. Because of my limited game time I generally stick to one game per genre. Like for example this year I am going with Battlefield V instead of CoD for my FPS fix. Action games like Red Dead, Assassin's Creed I stick with till I beat them. My RPG genre is currently filled with Skyrim on Switch etc. Diablo 3 is never ending there's always something to do so there is no need to have another similar game to it.
This looks pretty cool. I do love me some isometric view RPGs.
@Jaz007 That’s why you are wrong too, because games like Path of Exile and Torchlight 2 are really good.
"Nudity" on a PlayStation system? How come?
@Tasuki loool this game is literally pinacle of arpg genre currently and it beats diablo in every possible way.
And this game is never ending too and from the top of my head that i can think this game has 5 more acts than diablo better skills nothing is certain everything is rng, infinite dungeons, previous leagues return, online trading etc etc i could go on and on why poe is better but i won't since i'm at work i'l write an essay when i get home.
@Tasuki Well with a bit of luck you can buy Skyrim again on the PS5, Switch 2.😜
Looks fun. Diablo 3 clone only different settings and spells sets. I'm in.
@Elodin it's made by ex Diablo 2 programmers hense looking the same
yes been waiting ages for this to drop finally its here ❤ ❤
Miss these kind of games from the days of Norrath and Baldur's Gate on the PS2. Only question is if it's free to play, what kind of micro transactions are we going to be bombarded with?
Please tell me this has couch coop?
