Yakuza Studio’s upcoming Kamurocho-set crime drama Judge Eyes – now officially named Judgment in the West – will release Summer 2019 on the PlayStation 4. But there’s more: the title will feature English voice acting. Greg Chun will play protagonist Issei Hoshino, and it’s unclear at the time of typing whether you’ll be able to toggle between the English and Japanese voiceovers. [Update: You will be able to select the language!]
There was a new trailer that debuted during the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, which we've embedded above for your viewing pleasure.

Playing what is essentially a Yakuza game with English voices?
Don't be ridiculous.
Shame it wasn't an announcement for Yakuza 3 - 5, but I'm looking forward to this.
I've been super excited for this since it was announced. I can't wait!
And English voices? No thank you.
@ShogunRok well look at it from the brightside, this way more people may be tempted to play it.
and it most likely will have a japanese option aswell.
If it has a Japanese option, I'm in.
Greg what a beautiful name.best name ever aka Gregory.i will buy this game to support greg chun.word up son
@b1ackjack @Ryu_Niiyama @jdv95 @RBMango It does have dual audio.
English voice acting sounds great, but the disconnect with the Japanese lip sync would just be too offputting for me to play a Yakuza-style game this way, but if it has Japanese option too then this is a day one for me as this looks amazing!
Edit: Thanks @Orpheus79V 😀
After playing how many Yakuza games with Japanese VO and subtitles, the thought of playing them in English just seems weird to me.
@Orpheus79V I just saw the confirmation from one of the SEGA PR guys. Ace Attorney meets Yakuza keeps getting more and more enticing.
hmm, this is the second time that sega have included English dub with their new releases, fist of the north star was their recent title maybe this is a trend for them, this works well with potential buyers who prefer English dub to play too.
I'll keep an eye on this one and hopefully the demo will follow soon enough that may help me decide if I want to buy this day one or not.
@RBMango I wasn't a big fan of ace Attorney and crime games overall so I'm on the fence with this one, if there is enough action to balance it out then I may gain some interest i guess, the upcoming demo is the deciding factor of that.
Awesome, I am probably one of those few that like English dubs, one of the main reasons I have avoided the Yakuza games, looking forward to this.
@huyi From the gameplay they showed at TGS, there looks to be quite a lot of action.
Yass!!! One of my most anticipated games next year.
This is great news, Judgment will be my stepping stone into the Yakuzaverse and I may just love it enough to try out the main Yakuza titles.
