I have kingdom hearts preordered. As much as i want Resident Evil, i can only justify 1 game next month, and the 10 year wait for kh3 has been unreal
Big month.
I'll probably pick up Tales of Vesperia on Switch and, depending on how my rig handles it, Resident Evil 2 either on PC or PS4 in a few months (if there's no substantial performance difference with my current hardware, I'll just go for the console version).
Hmm,not much for me this month, although Ace Combat 7 looks quite cool.
Ace Combat 7 is the main event from where I'm sitting.
Resident Evil 2 for me, first game I've preordered and prepaid for in years, can't contain my hype. Hoping that RE3 will get an announcement.
Resi 2 and Kingdom Hearts 3 for me.
@RedMan33 Same!
@RedMan33 me too.. i hope so too. Code Veronica need get remake too. it was great game too. i thought Capcom want to make some remake games for classic games including Resident Evil so Code Veronica should be included too
Ace Combat 7.
I've been tempted to get into the series for years. But now I'm finally ready.
i am very very very hyped for Resident Evil 2 remake in this month beside Kingdom Heart 3. look at my avatar that why i am hyped for it : 100 percent
This is a great month for new releases.
@get2sammyb which games are you getting this month ?
Yeah, January quietly became a very solid month. Everyone was talking about February, but this month might actually be stronger. (I have a feeling Anthem is going to disappoint, Days Gone fled to April, and there hasn’t been quite much of a buzz for Metro)
@RedMan33 I've seen a few rumours about Resi 3 and it makes sense given that many of the environments can be recycled as can Mr X, Code Veronica I suspect would depend upon the success of these.
Anyhow there is no game I'm looking forward to more than Resident Evil 2 so January will probably be my favourite month next year 😁😁😁
Senran Kagura Re:Newal is coming out on the 22nd.
Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2 are day one.
Must remember to book off Jan 25th.
@Quintumply Ace Combat looks good, but you should try sitting somewhere else
Kingdom Hearts III obviously, it's not only gonna be one of the top ten best games from next year but best rpg game of that year
@GKO900 unless Pokemon pulls a BOTW!
Kingdom heart 3 and resident evil 2 remake is a day 1 buy for me, and maybe onimusha if the ps4 port is good.
@kyleforrester87 And that means get overly overhyped?
I'm very curios about 'The Grand Tour Game'. It will use the rFactor 2 physics engine, which is the best sim-racing engine there is in my opinion. It's been the base engine for all of my favourite racing games: Race 07, Stock Car Extreme, RaceRoom, Automobilista and others.
The episodic business model is odd for a racing game, but it has worked for other games and genres, so I'm cautiously optimistic about that.
Vane is the one I will most likely buy though, maybe 'Tales of Vesperia' later on.
Nothing here that I'm particularly eager to grab straight away, but there's still plenty of great unplayed 2018 games to keep me busy.
It's finally coming!! And I won't be able to play it day one... But Kingdom Hearts 3 is definitely gonna be my February game. RE2 is high in my 2019 list too.
so any advise for tales of vesperia? like is it a conected universe with the other games or are they stand alone games and ready to jump in at any time?
Got a Kingdom Hearts III PS4 Pro pre-ordered and I'll get Tales of Vesperia on PS4 since everything is 60fps. Resident Evil 2 is on Xbox One though.
Tales of Vesperia <3
@Rob_230 its been almost 13years not 10
Kingdom hearts 3, tales of vesperia and possibly resident evil 2 remake but thats a mebe as only one I've played is resident ebil 5. Not a massive fan of surival horror games.
I wish there weren't like 6 other Kingdom Hearts games to catch up on
RE2 remake looks fantastic.
@jdv95 It’s a standalone game in it own world.
I have only played the first KH game way over 10 years ago but "Simple and Clean" insists in getting stuck in my mind whenever anyone mentions the series. I wish I could just play the first two games so I can jump into the hype bandwagon but noooo! Nomura and Squenix had to dish out one of these every other year with increasingly stupid names, making it impossible to just pick one up and play.
For that, I'll stick only with RE2 next month.
@makoshichi I'm interested in the series too. But, I wasn't aware there was more to the story than 1 and 2 besides 3. That'll make it harder to get into.
I am definitely pre-ordering Kingdom Hearts 3. I was planning to also pre-order Resident Evil 2 Remake but it can wait, don't have the time to catch up on the series anymore and I still need to play both RE1 and RE0.
As for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition and Onimusha: Warlords, I will be waiting for 50% off sales or more.
Finally, regarding The Walking Dead: The Final Season and Life Is Strange 2, I plan to wait for the final episodes to drop before purchasing.
I thought tropico was pushed to the summer on consoles??? I hope im doing, day 1 and goty
13 years... Kingdom Hearts 3!!
I still can't believe it's been five and a half years since KH3 was announced, and now it's coming in less than a month. Time really does go by in the blink of an eye.
Rest In Peace: My Wallet.
Right, I've 3 weeks to finish RDR2 before Resi 2 comes out. Don't like to play more than one game at a time.
So hyped for KH3 ! RE2 as well .
Strong end of month, shame I have to choose between these two awesome games. Think I'll have to choose Resi 2 first.
