No new date announced
Overkill’s The Walking Dead got mauled by critics when it released on PC last year, and it’s forced Payday developer to find sanctuary while it overhauls the project for PlayStation 4 and other consoles. Originally due out in February, the studio’s now said that it’s “currently evaluating and reviewing the performance” of the project, with more news to be announced at later date.

They just watched the trailer for Days Gone.
They wanted to bring it out to make a quick buck but since they brought it out on PC first, they lost the chance of doing so.
I bet you they will just fix a bug or two and release it again in a few months so gamers will forget about what happened on PC.
I hate Starbreeze/Overkill Studios so much.

how hard can it be to make a Zombie survival horror game, developers have been making them for decades so you would think they would have it down by now
Looked like crap all along...
I've seen it on pc and played it it's awful it would brick my Rx580 8gb GPU and no matter what settings you turn down it actually made it worse in some sessions. It seems they spent more time on the CGI trailers than getting the game to perform well on pcs. If you know it got mailed for pc you bet it won't be any better on consoles the Payday developer was critised for adding loot boxes to Payday 2 for god's sake years after its release
Not shocking. The general consensus from it's PC release is that it's pretty sh*t right now. Oh well. I'm not picking this up either way.

Introducing Eastenders characters would probably improve it to be honest
Game is garbage, can confirm. Received as a gift (troll?) and it's pretty bad. Imagine a Payday 2 mod with next to nothing in terms of QA, for full price. Yikes. I hope this is a wake up call for them, because if it isn't, they're going to join the cast of the walking dead.
They can keep it, we don't need this kind of trash on our PS4s. I'd rather play My Little Pony Adventure instead.
Such a shame. I was super excited for this game when they first introduced it and released that short announcement trailer(?). Back then it seemed like it will become a sort of Resident Evil game, set in the TWD universe, that can be played in VR.
