The time has come for games critics to reveal their reviews for Kingdom Hearts III, but unfortunately, you won't be getting a review from us here at Push Square just yet.
Obviously Kingdom Hearts III is a big deal -- this is a sequel that people have literally been waiting over an entire decade for -- but as you may have already heard, Square Enix only supplied select gaming websites with review copies of the game. Sadly, Push Square was not one of the chosen few.
This isn't the first time that we've found ourselves in this situation and we highly doubt that it'll be last, but it's a predicament all the same. In an ideal world, we'd love to bring you reviews of games well before they release, but there's not much that we can do when a publisher like Square Enix decides to limit coverage of its product.
With that in mind, we still hope to publish a review as soon as possible. As always, we'd like to thank all of you for your continued support!

The limited number of review copies given out is probably because of the ridiculous number of leaks... I'm definitely gonna buy the game because I am unbelievably hyped and cannot believe we are finally here, but regardless, really looking forward to your review!
That's a shame. I'm sure there were writers that have waited the 10-odd years to play it and now they'll have to wait a bit longer!
Looks like outlets based in America were able to get codes when British-based outlets weren't. USGamer got a code; Eurogamer didn't.
Take you time. I, and I belive we all, take your (PushSquare) opinions in highly account.
@Jake3103 seems like the right thing to do as most leaks have European origin
by the way the VR experience has finally been released (on the JP PSN at least, yesterday)
It's live in Metacritic
@manu0 @Jake3103 Eurogamer Italy and IGN Italy have scores.
Sad as pushsquare the site I goto most but better to have a good review than a rushed one or go against devs wishes. On the fence on the game though. HD remix 1+2 may be enough for me.
Thanks Square Enix! 🙏
You guys should start doing review articles for the rare occasions you do get review code for big AAA games. 🤣
Guess I'll just keep myself busy playing w/ my Dreams beta since all the codes have gone out now. Oh wait... 😜
@HungryWolf Yeah, it seems to be just British outlets that didn't get it. No review codes for Videogamer, Push Square, Eurogamer, or The Guardian...
You obviously weren't paying Square Enix enough. Either that or they paid all their '10/10 review' budget to IGN.
On the plus side, none of us had to play Kingdom Hearts 3.
pushsquare 9 out of 10 prediction for 👑 kingdom 💕 hearts 3.word up son
Wait, Evil Robert will review the game?
Pre- order cancelled.
If only this game didn't have the typical cookie-cutter JRPG type characters in it and was just Disney only. Then I could probably have fun with it with my kids.
I can't bear spiky haired, big eyed, stupidly clothed JRPG characters. They are like kryptonite to me when it comes to gaming, in much the same way as English period dramas are when it comes to movies or RnB is when it comes to music. Guaranteed turn off.
@PS_Nation Lmao no don't worry, I definitely won't be reviewing it.
@johncalmc BOOO! BOOO!
@Jaz007 I kid! I like Kingdom Hearts, really.
@johncalmc Someone just volunteered themself for review duty
@Gremio108 I already did volunteer for it, actually. I've always been quite fond of the series while simultaneously having no idea what's going on.
It has been 13 years since kingdom hearts 2, I still can't believe finally I can play kingdom hearts 3, man time fly so fast
Automatic 5/10 🤬 SQUENIX
@johncalmc I've never played any of them. I've always wanted to, but haven't for that very reason.
I'd quite like to get the new one for the kids, but I think it would confuse the heck out of them if we started at 3
@Gremio108 I honestly don't know if it matters. I've played (I think) every Kingdom Hearts game, and I can't even remember who half of the characters are.
Amazon shipped my copy out yesterday, which is really weird since the game isn't out until next week.
They actually shipped it a few hours earlier then my copy of Resi 2.
I simply won't even consider buying the game until I've read this sites review. Shame on you Square Enix.
@get2sammyb Now you know what it feels like not getting a Dreams beta code
Pushsquare don’t even have a wheel to review racing games, that really says a lot about them as a website I feel. I bet they don’t have an enormous key either. Amateurs.
@kyleforrester87
And that's why you're posting comments here all the time, am I right?
I wasn't planning on getting this game, but a well thought out review could make me reconsider. Take your time with the review and don't rush it.
@shgamer yep, I’m in a shame spiral. This place used to be great, it all went downhill when Sammy took over.
@kyleforrester87
It's still much better than Nintendo"fanboy"Life IMO, though.
@shgamer Nintendolife, now thats a real gaming website.
@kyleforrester87
Ooookaaaay.
@shgamer Tag ikke noget, jeg siger alvorligt.
@kyleforrester87
Ok. Men det vil så sige, at vi rent faktisk er landsmænd, kan jeg forstå.
@ShogunRok But I was just kidding, I love your reviews. <3
All those FFXV and FF7 quips coming home to roost, eh
its 7 at most, its not better than re2 that u gave an 8
Lol at the comments I love the sense of humour of this community, some of the comments had me in stitches.
