Devil May Cry 5 has sold over 2 million copies since its launch two weeks ago, on the 8th March. That's according to Capcom, with the company revealing the number during a GDC 2019 presentation. Certainly not Dismal, but it ain't quite Smokin' Sexy Style, either.
Still, Devil May Cry isn't necessarily going to appeal to your broader mainstream audience, and since Capcom's throwing the figure out there, the publisher must be pleased with the game's performance. As far as we're concerned, it deserves all the success that it gets.

Great news. It's a terrific game.
Yeah, I'm really enjoying the game.
I just beat it and sold it for $35 good game with great graphics.
The game doesn’t greatly interest me but its always good to see a polished, well made game be successful.
Yep, glad to say I contributed to this number.
Better than I expected after its first couple weeks. Hopefully it can break 4 or 5 mil. I'd imagine that would be enough to get Capcom to make DMC 6.
I'm still in the beginning, but it is a fantastic game. V's fighting style is just sheer fun, and I am known for opposing drastic character changes in my favorite franchises. I just can't stomach Raiden for instance, and even Nero took several years and a reboot to win me over. So yeah, it is that good.
Sales......i need more SALES! This game is just pure fun. Easily the best DMC
