Media streaming giant Netflix is teaming up with Japanese animation studio Sublimation to produce an anime series based on Dragon's Dogma. An interesting choice, given that the story in Dragon's Dogma is so obscure at times, but hey, that dark fantasy world could make for a great setting, and it's certainly got the action nailed down.
Here's a brief description of the project: "Based on a world-famous action RPG set in an open world, Dragon’s Dogma from Capcom will be brought to life as a Netflix original anime series. The story follows a man’s journey seeking revenge on a dragon who stole his heart. On his way, the man is brought back to life as an ‘Arisen’. An action adventure about a man challenged by demons who represent the seven deadly sins of humans."
Sounds pretty good on paper, so here's hoping that the series itself comes together well. There are no details yet on when full production starts, or when the finished product is due to air.
Now, Capcom, about that Dragon's Dogma sequel...

Cool... but why not Yakuza!?
This is dope but I'd rather have a sequel 😪
@ApostateMage Wow, right after you mentioned something about Dragon Dogma.lol
I'd love a new game instead of a bloody cartoon.
@WanderingBullet Top character creation, top combat, top game.
One of my favourite games. This should be cool.
Love the game, although I would rather a second game than a series. But I hope its good enough
All Capcom has to do to win E3 this year is announce a sequel.
I still need to play the game, but I have heard very good things about it.
Hopefully I can watch this anime without having experienced the game first.
