It's over! It's finally over!
Today's an important day, folks, for today, Final Fantasy XV comes to an end. To be fair to Square Enix, the developer's done a good job of supporting the title for over two years, even if we haven't been huge fans of the DLC episodes or many of the free content updates.
Anyway, the game's final DLC, Episode Ardyn, is out now on PlayStation 4. You can watch its moody trailer above, and then you'll hopefully never have to hear us complain about Final Fantasy XV ever again.
Hopefully.

It's been a long road.
But how do we know this isn't the end of said road, but only a stop sign?
Maybe we'll get more DLC for XV for another 2 years.
I thought Bayonetta was a Switch exclusive?
"The end has come"
Nah, we've still got that book coming, and I'm sure FFXV will be sneaking into even more games. It's the cockroach that refuses to die.
At least the core gameplay’s functionally inoffensive. I’m still not paying extra when I’ve already bought the super duper game of the year bonus edition or whatever it was called.
I bet SE was going to sell a true ending through the last two canceled dlc episodes. between this and their idea of making FFX-X2HD on pc always online I seriously see Square Enix ending up at the bottom given how they are just running FF and Tomb Raider into the ground.
They need to work on some of their older IPs that hasn't seen the light of day in years, like a new Parasite Eve or better yet something out of nowhere like a brand new Secret of Evermore.
I would kill to see Secret of Evermore make a comeback.
Such a sad day. What are pushsquare writers gonna bash now?
Heh. I'll wait for the inevitable complete release of the game. The "Royalest Edition," maybe.
Lots of "end" word in this dlc.
but i dont the way it ends.
i hope alternate path in the future.
Hopefully now we'll get on to the VII remake.
So now we get a real Complete Edition good to hear. 😁
It's over! It's finally over!
so can we expect a complete edition now? LOL
I bet it's not over. Who wants to be there's more DLC.
He probably is over give the man responsible doesn’t work for them anymore.
When is best to play this DLC in terms of story of the main game? I know it's set before it, but still.
@MickOnYourFace Realistically, beforehand. It explains what actually leads to the events of Final Fantasy XV and really acts as a missing opening piece of a much larger story.
If they bring out a complete "complete" edition, I may finally pick this up.
Finally I won't have to read uninformed comments by people hating on the JRPG I liked the most this generation because they read something on the Internet. Go hate other games you haven't played and post in their threads to fill this void in your lives. Btw this final dlc is beautiful and so so sad!
