Mortal Kombat’s always been off the rails, but the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 appears to be pointing a middle finger at… Well, everything really. The title’s first DLC fighter, legendary kombatant Shang Tsung, will be voiced by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa – who (in)famously played the character in Paul W. S. Anderson's legendary 1995 movie.
Tsung will also front The Krypt, which should be fun. In other news, Noob Saibot is the latest character to join the base game’s roster, after debuting all the way back in Mortal Kombat 2 – although he wasn’t playable back then, of course. You can see him in action courtesy of the trailer above, and browse the full roster of confirmed MK11 characters through the link.

I still think the Mortal Kombat movie is the best movie based on a game. If Netherrealm wanna make me happy, include that film's soundtrack in this and have Christopher Lambert voice Raiden.
That’s Number-Shang!
It's cool to see a callback to the movie.
I always liked how they did Goro in the movie; guy in a suit mixed with animatronics for the head/face.
@nessisonett Ah, a reference! Mortal Kombat Ensues!
I’m really liking that classic design, just a bit disappointing he’s not on the base roster. And Noob looks brutal.
That Noob Saibot is the first fighter I'm really interested in, this time round. Still skipping it.
The actual movie was the best movie for a game ever it followed the mega drive game and the character where great
one of the best movie I ever saw wow.mortal kombat movie was the first time I went to a movie and it was pack.they was no seat available.people was sitting on the floor.on top of each other.it was a legendary moment.never seen that again.word up son
What a great moustache
Noob Saibot. One of my faves (from Deception and afterwards).
Here's hoping Havik and a robo-ninja will make the cut.
It looks fantastic i have to say that but im still waiting for the Complete Edition. 😜
The fatalities look disgusting and the gameplay looks fluid.
Outside of the lack of gore, the first MK movie was everything a Mortal Kombat movie needed to be imo. It's a really fun martial arts flick, if not exactly high brow (but neither are the games, are they?)
"YOUR SOUL IS MINE!"
MORTAL KOMBAT!
