Over in PC land, Frostpunk has been a resounding success. Launching roughly a year ago, it's a city building game with lots of strategic elements, and it's highly regarded. The world is a frozen wasteland, and it's up to you as ruler to make tough decisions about resources, citizens, and the city itself. If that sounds like your cup of tea, good news: it's heading to PlayStation 4 later this year.
Coming from the developers of This War of Mine, this is a dark strategy game that combines story with resource management, and as you can imagine, it's tough going. It looks as though you have lots to keep on top of at all times, including the happiness of residents and the laws with which you govern your city.
We're certainly interested to learn more about Frostpunk when it arrives on PS4 in the summer. What do you think of this game? Wrap up warm in the comments below.

I really enjoy city builders, so I’m genuinely eager give this game a shot. But “dark strategy” definitely seems to be the best way to describe it. Looking over the reviews on Steam, apparently this isn’t a relaxing outing. It’s intense and, at times, stressful, but also really compelling. Sounds worthwhile.
Very cool. Looking forward to this one.
When this launched it doesn't have free play.... does it have it now?
Wonderful wonderful yay at last frost punk is coming to PS4 yay
@Shepherd_Tallon I'm trying to think of a strategic survival game set in snowy climes that was first revealed to the world when I was in college. Let's see... Metal Gear Solid?
Thanks for making me feel old
@Shepherd_Tallon oh, OK. That makes me feel a bit better but you're right, time does fly.
Looks like a time sink, sign me up
