Goku from Dragon Ball GT leaps into Dragon Ball FighterZ next month, Bandai Namco has confirmed. The third DLC character of the game's second season pass, this childlike version of Dragon Ball's protagonist ruffled a few feathers when he was first revealed. After all, there are already three playable Gokus in the game -- five if you want to get technical.
But you know what? He looks pretty cool. Dragon Ball GT isn't considered canon to the franchise's overall story, but some of its characters were fun. Oh, and did we mention that this version of Goku can transform into Super Saiyan 4? It's only for the strongest version of his ultimate attack, but still...
Anyway, the officially named Goku (GT) will be available from the 9th May. Given that additional Dragon Ball FighterZ characters have always launched in pairs, we're expecting another reveal very soon.

The Goku that doesn't exist.
Even Akira Toriyama doesn't acknowledge the existence of GT and created Super to erase that timeline.
@Rhaoulos I always think that Dragon Ball GT is more likely in a parallel universe of the Dragon Ball franchise.
@LaytonPuzzle27 That's a way to look at it.
I have always seen GT as a combination of all the worst parts from OVA and story arcs that aren't in the manga, making up all kind of new things that were somehow never mentioned.
And Toriyama was only involved for character design in GT, nothing else. Since he's DB's one and only daddy, and he went in a completely different direction in Super, it is safe to completely ignore it.
@KingdomHeartsFan Same here. I didn't know there were even remotely enough GT fans to justify this version of Goku.
@Rhaoulos I'm in the minority of people who liked GT and hate super
@KingdomHeartsFan Bought it on Blu-Ray the other day!
@Rhaoulos I admittedly was a GT fan back when the dub first aired on TV ages ago...this was before I knew it wasn't canon to the manga though.
