One game that's been doing the rounds lately is an early access PC game named Satisfactory. It may surprise you to learn that the team behind it is best known for creating the purposely janky Goat Simulator. The factory-building survival game is a huge move for Coffee Stain Studios, but based on what's been shown so far, it seems to be up to the task.

Satisfactory has you landing on an alien planet on behalf of a mysterious corporation. Your task is to begin building the foundations for human colonisation by establishing basic industry and researching alien lifeforms and materials. Essentially, you'll be given loose objectives and a big sandbox in which to start building bigger and better machinery. You can eventually have entire processes automated, lending it an almost clicker-esque edge, and online co-op lets you build with your chums.

Early impressions on the game have been pretty positive, but the question is, will we see Satisfactory on PlayStation 4? Right now, it sounds like a "maybe". Within the FAQ on the game's official site, the developer states: "We just want to get the game balanced and running smoothly on Windows, then we might look into other platforms."

Going by the information on the website, it sounds like the game is still very much a work in progress. Coffee Stain Studios estimates it'll be in early access for "at least 1 year," meaning a potential PS4 release is some time away -- if it happens at all. Here's hoping, though -- it looks like it could be an addictive construction sim. What do you think of Satisfactory? Do you want it on PS4? Drill down to the comments below and let us know.
