Is it finally time for a fresh Death Stranding trailer? Going by a teasing tweet from director Hideo Kojima, quite possibly. The industry icon has posted a seemingly telling photograph over on Twitter, which shows two monitors. The first is displaying what looks to be a trailer, while the second displays editing software. Knowing that Kojima likes to splice his own marketing materials, the natural assumption is that we'll soon be getting a new look at Death Stranding.
It's been quite a while since we last saw the PlayStation 4 exclusive in action. We got a reasonably lengthy gameplay trailer at E3 last year, but honestly, we came away from it with more questions than answers. The game later put in a brief appearance at Tokyo Game Show 2018, but again, we weren't given great deal to go on.
Do you think Kojima's cooking something up? Let your imagination run wild in the comments section below.

Norman reedus said it's gonna be good so I believe him
I'm thinking maybe a new State of Play in May or July, and that's where this possible trailer will debut.
At this point, I just think Kojima is an arrogant narcissist who just want people to say his name. Just look at MGSV, you see his name over 200 times during the game.
Dear Hideo,
Unless you're going to show some actual, tangible gameplay, don't bother.
Sincerely,
Me.
I hope it’s on new state of play showing new gameplay of DS, ghost, and tlou 2
@Rhaoulos msg5 was awesome tho
Either show us ACTUAL gameplay or F*** off, Kojima.
@QualityGeezer LOL, was it...
@Dubya75 Yes it was, the story wasn't good but MGSV perfectly balanced stealth and action approaches to it's missions.
@Dubya75 as an early PS4 GAME I thought the open world structure was awesome
@Kidfried they are gone but I still see them in my dreams
Probably just a quick tweet before he jets off again to a glitzy world city to hang out with celebs.
Would be the time to show something concrete instead of this pr bu*****t.
He is playing with fire now, risk is that when he finally shows something people will say "is that it"?
I'm excited for DS, but I'm firmly in the camp of "show raw gameplay or don't bother". I love weirdo Kojima stuff as much as the next person, but I've had my fill of his CGI short movies in the form of game trailers these past three years.
@QualityGeezer MGSV was good, not great. And all that online crap being forced on the player is a pain. It doesn't make him any less arrogant. MGSV is the only game I know that has opening AND ending credits with every single mission.
I have never seen Shigeru Miyamoto or Eiji Aonuma's names more than once in any Nintendo game, and they deserve it way more than Kojima.
@Rhaoulos So what? It has other developers names in those credits too you know, don't see others criticizing them. No it just seems cool to hate on Kojima just because some aren't happy seeing gameplay way sooner then it's ready. And people wonder why studios crunch all the time.
This will be a highly detailed Visual Novel.
Looking forward to this game a lot, but part of me is starting to feel like the final release will just be a collection of trailers.
