Who remembers Witchfire? Announced all the way back at The Game Awards 2017, it has been a long time since we've seen anything from the game, suggesting that a release is still quite far away.
However, to satisfy your appetite, developer The Astronauts has posted a short gameplay on its YouTube channel, 13 seconds short in fact, which you can check out above. It's a big shift in tone and pace from the dev's previous title, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, but it's looking good. The clip demonstrates some interesting abilities, different weapons, and damage numbers galore.
Are you still interested in playing Witchfire whenever it releases? Show off your powers in the comments below.

It might just be a short clip with no audio but you know, that looked pretty good.
Not bad. Hope we get to see more soon.
I'm liking the look of that. I used to really dislike FPS games and shooters in general but I'm playing a lot of them nowadays. Must be an age thing.
Looks good. Aggressive with cool powers.
I recommend following their development diary, they write some pretty interesting articles every week. The game looks really interesting.
I remember this. It was a game that certainly interested me when it was revealed. The tone of the clip in this is less dark but it still has some of the elements of the first reveal. I think the damage numbers are new but I recall seeing some the shooting and abilities in the first trailer. Up until they pulled out a gun and started shooting, I was wondering whether or not this would be another walking sim in a dark world. This clip though does at least reinforce its a FPS...
