A Plague Tale: Innocence Launch Trailer Paints a Bleak Picture

One of this month's major new releases comes from Focus Home Interactive, a publisher that seems to be pushing itself lately. A Plague Tale: Innocence has looked like an interesting project since its announcement, and it's now right around the corner -- the game launches on PlayStation 4 tomorrow.

The latest trailer is here, and it's clear that you won't be having a fun-filled riot in medieval France. Set during a time of war and disease, it's looking ultra-bleak. The premise has always intrigued us, and hopefully the story can make the most of it. Are you excited for A Plague Tale: Innocence? Dodge those pesky rats in the comments below.

The only thing I have in mind is that the guy in the hood is both templar and assassin. But I've probably played too much assassin's creed lately.
This game is definitely going on my watch list.

Been keeping an eye on this ever since it was first announced on the PS Blog what seems like forever ago.
It looks so good AND it's not an open world game which will make a change.Unfortunately I've set myself the rule of one game at a time so it may be a while before I get to play it..

I want this game but waiting on reviews to be honest. It looks amazing but could also be a duffer.

Been keeping an eye on this one. If it reviews well it's a purchase for sure.

That trailer is really compelling. If the drama of the actual game matches what’s depicted in it, it would be well worth playing. My backlog’s a little large for new purchases at the moment, but I’ll be keeping this one in mind to pick up later down the line.

I like the look of it, but the gameplay trailer I saw made it look very simple; I'd hope it gets tougher than what I saw.

Either way, it will have to wait. I'm too busy with hordes of Freakers at the moment to worry about hordes of rats. Maybe in a month or so, or when the price drops.
