The ever-popular Fortnite has just teased its ninth season of content, which is set to kick off in two days on 9th May. It'll bring with it a new Battle Pass and even more map-changing events.
The announcement comes off the back of the Unvaulting event which saw the return of the Drum Gun, but the infamous Tilted Towers and Retail Row were destroyed in the process. The image teasing the next season takes on a futuristic vibe, potentially hinting at skins and weapons we wouldn't encounter in the present.
Will you be heading back to Fortnite with this new batch of content? Mourn the death of Tilted Towers in the comments below.

I can barely contain my excitement :/
I dont play fortnite, i have tried but i didnt care for it, but dang do they support this game, i guess its a pretty decent game?
@ellsworth004 Course they will the amount of money this game is bringing in from season pass sales, YouTube and twitch streamers etc
Whenever I see news articles for "games as a service" stuff, it feels like I'm reading about how the local council are replacing manhole covers in town, or painting the telegraph poles a fresh shade of beige. Really mundane stuff, and it typically feels like the writer agrees. It's like "Fallout 76 is adding rucksacks, I am so hyped. Yay. Who else is as thrilled as me?😑"

Its a good social game to play with friends or strangers. Very small cost to buy a season pass then if you play the game enough you never have to pay money for one again.
A lot of games could learn lessons from how this game is supported. Its constantly evolving and changing every season. Puts other games to shame.
I don't play it, but my 8 year old son plays it and loves it. I think they support the game really well and he rarely if ever needs money to purchase things as he earns everything through playing.
