We weren’t joking when we said we could rebrand Push Square as a Dreams fansite, but there’s so much impressive stuff getting made that it deserves the digital column inches. Take this Metal Gear Solid remake, which is so impressive that it’s already gotten Hideo Kojima’s approval. The auteur certainly didn’t keep creator Bearskopf waiting.
Of course, this is only the first level for now, with the rest of the game to come – assuming Konami’s lawyers don’t get involved. It’s incredible what people have achieved within a month, isn’t it?

I bet Konami doesn't 😂😂😂
It does look great though and I can't wait to see what'll be available to play when the full game comes out
Looks pretty good!
That is very impressive. I actually wanted to do this, but this guy seems to pull it off well.
I guess I'll settle for a Sons of Liberty Demake. I call dibs.
MM should make a deal with konami and whoever that make this dreams remake to sells metal gear solid 1 in dreams, maybe as dlc
WOW!!! AMAZING Stuff I wish they(Konami) would make MGS1 again like RE2 was done recently. That would be THE BEST THING EVER There is a video on YouTube(I forgot who by) of the intro of MGS1 with new Graphics and it's INCREDIBLE
@Frigate I agree, interesting but ultimately pointless. Although I suppose it’s a good way for people to learn how to use the features of Dreams well, so it serves a purpose from that perspective!
@Carl-G yes it amazes me how konami make a new PES game every years and it never sells as well as Fifa this not making them alot of money but they could simply remake the MGS games and make an absolute butt load of cash in the first day.
That's pretty cool.
I betcha Kojima plays around with Dreams during his off time.
Impressive camera work. Spot on.
Wow seriously impressive. I can't wait to see the original content these creators will come up with. I'm getting Dreams just for that. I wish I had time to dabble but that's just not going to happen. Too many other ventures. Which is just as well since I probably wouldn't come up with anything like this.
This is absolutely brilliant!
There's plenty of original content already in Dreams, it's just it doesn't get the same attention as projects like this for obvious reasons.
If Sony can market this right and keep having people share these dreams across social media I can see this game blowing up and being their own Minecraft or Roblox and nobody deserves that more than Media Molecule
@dark_knightmare2 I hope you're right. I think Dreams looks cool and I'll pick it up when it's launched in its entirety, but I worry about it's future and Media Molecule as a whole :/ 🤞
People seem to be creating some interesting stuff in this, but personally, I just can't get interested in it. I initially loved LBP but got bored of it very quickly, so I won't be bothering with this.
@Frigate why not both?
A remake is the first step to having assets to do sequel and prequels for all our favorite games!
But yeah oc is pretty good sometimes!
It blows my mind that people can do incredible stuff in the game! I wish I had time to do some things..
I never get bored of Dreams stuff. I want the game but I'm not buying at the moment as the backlog is too big. Plus I think I would be so sucked in by Dreams that I'd stop playing other games.
@Kidfunkadelic83 you reckon PES doesn't make Konami much money? Really?! MyClub etc make them millions.
I bought Dreams and I like it. To a point. I mean, it's impressive, in and of itself, what people can create on a PS4 in their own home but in reality, who would spend hard earned money on any of the 'games' that have been made so far?
I've seen cheap 'rubbish' games on PS4 with better graphics and animations etc than some of the 'brilliant' stuff created on Dreams so far. Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting a downer on it but am more wondering whether creations will become like actual games at some point in Dreams future? Whereby they would be so good you wouldn't know they had been made in Dreams and you would happily pay £15 for it, or whatever?
Will that happen, some day?
