Welcome back to Push Square, the website where we try really hard not to just spotlight impressive Dreams creations all day. To be fair, this Star Wars X-Wing stage deserves the extra attention – it’s easily one of the most impressive efforts we’ve seen come out of the Early Access yet. Made by gauffreman and awarded the copyright dodging name of Space Wars Forcefighter, this is a relatively straightforward dogfighting minigame with some of the most absurd production values we’ve seen come out of Media Molecule’s suite thus far.
You can check out the level in full via the ProjectGenesis video above, but be sure to let us know whether your mind has been blown in the comments section below.

Watched this earlier, quite impressive.
If they let creators monetize this game, it’ll explode and the industry will never be the same.
I think vr support in the full game will be amazing, star wars x-wing in vr
Saw this earlier, it looks stunning but if I were to play this, my creations wouldn't be anywhere near this kind of quality. Still gonna buy it though
I hadn’t really looked at dreams and it just hadn’t been on my radar... but this is amazing... wow...
Can you download this if you own the game?
@RogerRoger he shares your optimistic appraisal of the situation
That looks incredible. So excited to see more Dreams content of this quality.
@RogerRoger haha, well done!
@Stocksy I'm not sure about a download that you could play offline, but one of the coolest parts of Dreams is the fact you can play any of these creations that have been published and they take almost no time to load.
@Broosh yeah that’ll do... I assume from watching that vid they plan to do more... of the same theme as they put coming soon! there must be some awesome stuff created.
@Stocksy You can’t download it but you can play it for free. Just search for it.
@get2sammyb cool that’s kinda what I meant, just play it, don’t know anything about this game, just didn’t want a Mario maker on 3ds situation where you see all these cool levels but there is no way to play others content... glad the same mistake isn’t made here. Although shame the content will be lost when servers go...
I think that Star Wars stuff shown here is truly epic. I’ll deffo be looking at this game
What the f€#@ !??? Sorry, but stuff like this ... What's the limit for Dreams creations? My first star wars game was XWing on PC... Seeing this made over a "game creator"... Amazing.
It's not gonna happen, but another Star Wars Rogue Squadron would be great.
"Inform the Empire"
So you mean EA
@wiiware
Have you tried the free VR add-on to Battlefront? It's a X-wing mission. Pretty cool. Short, but cool.
I have a feeling Media Molecule is going the have to rename their software C&Dreams.
Seriously impressive.
I'm gonna make a QTE game set in the Mos Eisley Cantina where you have to make Han shoot first.
@MattSilverado The limit is really your imagination. If this is what individuals are doing in their spare time just a few months after launch, the mind boggles at where we’ll be next year.
@get2sammyb the thing is... There's no , how to say... Way to spot if something has been created with dreams or with a "propietary engine". The sounds and graphics of this creation can be easily mistaken as an EA game. I remember the early days of dreams, graphics were a bit cartoonish ... But now we have seen many different creations and it's mind bending. As you pointed, the best is yet to come... And somewhat obviously because none of the creations are "games" yet. I think Dreams is some kind of "accelerator" for game developers... you still need the talent and the ideas and everything required to create a fun game, but having this massive framework and the social aspect is awesome to start being productive from the start, and then some.
@lacerz I didn’t have battlefront, also already sold my psvr because the cable is too much. I hope psvr 2 only have 1 thin cable to ps5, psvr 2 will have a lot of good games at launch because of ps4 BC
Dreams is great for ripping off other peoples creations. Call it a fan project and thats the justification.
@hotukdeals To be fair there are plenty of incredible original creations too, they just don’t get the same attention because people don’t have a reference point for them.
@get2sammyb to be fair that guy only wants to hear the bad stuff mate🤦♀️
amazing how this can be made inside of a game crazy good.
