Now Why Can't Our Friendly Neighborhood Nintendo Give us Sales like this on the switch.
@Areus Switch has sales all the time. There's even an especially large sale going on in Europe right now.
@Areus there are huge sales on switch games all of the time
every single day
you just have to look
@vitalemrecords The eShop sales are not even remotely close to what PS and Xbox offer. Doom or Skyrim for $50 CAD is not exactly a steal lol.
Oh I bought UNO just two days ago for $9.99
One more day and it would have become $4.99
Oh well
@MrMetroid Lowest I've seen Doom is 40. To be fair, those have not gone on sale at retail very often, either, esp Wolfy 2.
Again, the publisher also bares some blame, not only Nintendo. Those aren't "Nintendo games".
@EVIL-C Yeah its fully on Bethesda for that I agree. Nintendo doesn't have much input on that however since Nintendo doesn't lower its prices, I guess that expectation is set for the consumer and so publishers like Bethesda follow suit.
@MrMetroid you're right - this PS sale with "Lets Dance" for 32 bucks is a real world-shaker
@MrMetroid right now - if you have the nintendo online - you can buy two new games that haven't come out yet for 100 bucks.
That's much better than anything on the PSN sales.
I got the special edition (dlc included) of Mario and Rabbids for 25 bucks. That's a 60 dollar game with the 20 dollar DLC for less than 33%.
I also use my gold points to get a $10 game that was marked down to $2 for free.
Advantage Nintendo.
Lol its sad you think that the Eshop is anywhere close to PSN or Xb Live in sales... First off PSN regularly has a pre order deal in November where you get $15 credit for pre ordering any 2 games. Those don't have to be only first party. I got Red dead 2 plus spyro trilogy with that and keep in mind Spyro is not a full price game.
Secondly, a year ago, I bought two bundles. The doom/Wolfenstein 2 and prey/dishonoured 2 bundles for a total cost of $70 CAD. If I recall, both doom and Wolfenstein II are full price with the occasional 50% off on the eshop.
Even two weeks ago, I got Tomb raider, Darksiders 1 + 2 for a total of 12 CAD. The point is, there is no competition and please don't get me started on the physical sale prices of PSN/XB1 games vs switch releases.
