Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night finally launches today, and while we don't have a review ready for you all just yet, the game's launch trailer is well worth checking out as it basks in the glory of Koji Igarashi's return. Just take a look for yourself above.
The footage opens with a rather humorous live-action scene of Iga himself torturing an unfortunate soul as he explains how criticism has been accepted, that the game is twice the size of his previous title, and making sure to comment on the mammoth 13 free DLCs arriving post-launch. Extensive gameplay footage follows before a special appearance from Shovel Knight himself rounds things out.

I’ll be picking this up within the week. Looking forward to to see how the review turns out.
They're really juicing the "We listen to the gamers!" thing for all it's worth.
I'm waiting for reviews (and the slightly delayed Switch port). I'm optimistic, but it'll need to be superb to impress me more than the Inti Creates prequel game, which was better than it had any right to be.
"ESTIMATED DELIVERY Mar 2017"
The usual 2+ years late for Kickstarter campains.
This game has been in development for such a long time I completely lost track. I will put it in the "maybe" pile on my wish list.
I’ll already pick this up 4 years ago, on kickstater 😌
If this trailer can be considered ludicrous I don't know what level gaming journalism is on.
why does that song at the end remind me of child of light
It's here, it's here! Whee! Hurrah!
It's waiting in my cart until the review.
Pre-ordered it on the PS Store a couple weeks back. After an 8-hour marathon last night, what I've played is quite fun. There's definitely some grinding but while there are some who are suggesting it's a chore, I haven't found that to be the case. I really enjoy the gameplay so I have no problem going back and building up the experience points. There's a bit more story than I anticipated, which I also like in my games, and Miriam is a great lead character
I didn't realize it was our so soon. Pleasant surprise!
Definitely will be picking this up at some point. Right now I don't have the money
This game is AMAZING. I look forwarding to playing it all day at work.. I haven't had a game like that in a while.
@LaJettatura Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but there isn't any paid DLC or day one DLC. There's going to be a bunch of 'free' stuff in the future.
@LaJettatura so week 3 DLC.
@LaJettatura "Also just FYI, we didn't want to do day-1 DLC but Kickstarter crowdfunding backers paid extra to make this content happen, so we couldn't include it for free, we promise we're not going to turn into 'corporate commander'... "
