Gamespot has been quietly releasing a new video series called Audio Logs, which brings the developers behind our favourite games to the forefront to explain the mechanics and features behind them. The latest episode takes a deep dive into 2018's Shadow of the Colossus as Bluepoint Games explains how it remade the Famito Ueda masterpiece.
The video explores what the studio touched up and what it left alone, unique rocks, vegetation systems, and the implementation of head tracking. It's a video that's well worth a look for anyone interested in the development of games on a deeper level.

Now to see what they are making next
This make me want to replay sotc on ps4
I've JUST finished this tonight (after having rented it for a month...). I liked it a lot, but that stupid turtle Colossus ruined it. And the camera is more of a fight than most of the Colossi are. One of the better looking games I've played, glad I upgraded the tv before hand!
Sony needs to hire those guys fast.the masters of remasters.word up son
I will never understand the love for that game. It was one of the first games I played after buying a PS4 and it was a huge let down. just a boss rush in a boring empty world. Some fights are really fun, others are just tedious and there is almost no story.
