Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed, a full remaster of the original game in Acquire’s stripping series, will launch on the PlayStation 4 this winter. The title – which promises to “knock your socks off” – sees you exposing vampiric creatures to sunlight by relieving them of their clothes. You may be familiar with its predecessor Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed, which technically was its successor – if that makes sense.
“[The game] completely rebuilds the first title in a modern engine, bringing back the beat-’em-up, strip-’em-down gameplay fans know and love while accurately rendering Akihabara, Japan’s geek paradise, from circa 2012 in glorious HD,” the press release reads. There’s a trailer for you to feast your eyes on above.

Akiba's Trip... Akiba...Strip....I get it
Oh hell yeah! I spent most of last weeks gaming time playing through the PS4 version of Undead and Undressed, if it's half as good as that game I'm all in.
The humour in AT2 is wonderful, especially the Shakespearean quest Starman Crossed Lovers where Lolio and Yuriette have to be saved from their warring families, the Capuretto's and Montekyu's. Absolutely hilarious!
I enjoyed undead and undressed so maybe.
Does this mean Sony finally ending there bad censorship policies?
@LaytonPuzzle27 - The Akiba games censor themselves. There is no nudity in them at all. Anything close to it fills the screen with lens flare. Even when modders removed that in the PC version the character models had strategically placed band aids covering their modesty. Nothing to see here.
Sh...shouldn't a remaster look better than the original? Did they put alpha build footage in the trailer by accident?
@GumbaMasta - The footage seems to be the PSP version for some odd reason, you can clearly see a white circle button prompt in the video.
It looks really bad ill pass.
@Shigurui Oh...well. Still looks a bit bad.
@GumbaMasta - Oh I agree it looks bad on PSP but hopefully the remaster turns out like the remaster of AT2, The PS4 version of AT2 isn't a massive improvement visually over the PS3 version but it is an improvement. Either way I'm just glad it's finally coming to the West.
